[00:00:06] The rocking review podcast hosted by j. Rock rude.
[00:00:29] Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another exciting edition of the Rocking Review Podcast. This is episode 31.
[00:00:43] After a unfortunate month long break, I was trying to figure out when and if I was able to possibly do another episode.
[00:01:01] Quite honestly, I didn't know what to think.
[00:01:04] It kind of was. Was a bit frustrating, I'll say that much. I definitely wish that things could have gone better, but you know, timing issues and things just happen.
[00:01:19] So it is what it is. But I will say that within the last month, a lot of stuff has been going on, a lot of stuff in the wrestling world.
[00:01:31] So instead of me doing a rundown and basically me talking about this past week and all this, I'm gonna go ahead and this is gonna be a full rant story, full rant episode.
[00:01:47] And we're going to start with the positives. Okay?
[00:01:54] The first positive I want to get out is this Saturday or this last Saturday.
[00:02:02] NXT pulled off a very great ple.
[00:02:09] Unfortunately they ran out of their Peacock media licenses. So this was a free pay per view for all on the WWE YouTube channel.
[00:02:25] So with that in mind, it took place in Chesterfield, Missouri at the factory.
[00:02:36] So it was in St. Louis.
[00:02:38] And it was a kind of, you know, I don't want to call it a, a mediocre type of show, but I mean, it was a decent show by far, especially considering what had happened the previous night.
[00:03:00] So some good things happen on here.
[00:03:05] And in the opening match, Lola Vice beat JC Jane and Kendall Gray to become the new NXT women's champion. She's been there for four years. I've been continuously saying that her and Jada Parker are the top women in that entire division. And that's the other good thing, that is how good stand deliver was considering that Sam Deliver is their WrestleMania. They had a really, really great show and they are producing very good young talent.
[00:03:39] They're not shying away from it. The stuff that they got going with Evolve and everything else has been going really, really good.
[00:03:48] So I was really, really excited for how this ple went.
[00:03:55] There was a tag team title match between the Vanity Project and Los Americanos.
[00:04:02] Again, it was kind of funny because Bravo and Rao, who are of course Tyler Bate and Pete Dunn, they came out and basically it was like working a British strong style wrestling match with these two young guys in Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes.
[00:04:31] So that was a very good match.
[00:04:34] Then you had the not blow off feud yet, but the first match between Sol Ruka and Zarya, of course, Zari And Solruka have been going back and forth.
[00:04:51] Then we had the NXT North American title match.
[00:04:56] Miles Bourne defeated Johnny Gargano because that's the other thing too. When, when they, they haven't built mid carders, they basically bring in like people from WWE that can be able to make these appearances because they did the exact same thing for aaa. So so basically, you know, Miles Bourne and Johnny Gano had had a pretty decent match which was, which was really, really good.
[00:05:29] And then you had Tatum Paxley beating Blake Monroe again.
[00:05:35] It's really showing that where would Mariah May Blake Monroe be if she had leaved aew?
[00:05:44] And quite honestly, looking at how things are going, like Blake Monroe is being put on NXT to put over young talent like Tatum Paxley or like a Jada Parker or somebody like that and I really don't see why.
[00:06:02] And then the main event, which is really, really good. Fatal Four away match. Tony d' Angelo beat Joey.
[00:06:11] Sorry, not Joey Hendry. Joe Hendry, Ethan Page and Ricky Saints become the new NXT champion and for the first time in NXT's existence, which by the way, mind you that NXT has been around for almost 12 years, they started with three titles. They started with the tag team, the women's and the main championship.
[00:06:36] They didn't develop the North American title until 2018 when Adam Cole won it in what is considered personally the greatest multi man ladder match that WWE has ever done.
[00:06:50] I'm not gonna say the greatest ladder match because that goes to somebody like Razor and Michaels and you know, other ones like Benoit and Jericho that they've had some with Raw, you know, some ladder matches, Rob Van Dam. But as far as like multi person ladder matches, even a money in the bank match, I don't know any money in the bank match that was as good as that Takeover match for the North American title that they had back in 2018.
[00:07:23] So Tony D', Angelo, he came in and he won the NXT UK Heritage cup, which that was the other thing too. For Grand Slam you have to hold the two Mid Card championships plus the tag team, plus the World Championship and of course they consider the Heritage cup another midcard title. So I said okay, that's fine. Then a quick reminder for those who forgot.
[00:07:50] Tony d' Angelo beat Oba Femi in his record breaking reign as North American champion.
[00:08:01] He beat him twice.
[00:08:03] He beat him the first time, rolled him up, pinned him for the first time in NXT and then he beat him again in a hardcore match at that year's Halloween Havoc. That would be before he went on and became the main event and won the NXT championship.
[00:08:24] So with that in mind, Tony d' Angelo also won the NXT Tag Team Championships with Stacks Lorenzo.
[00:08:34] So now Tony D', Angelo, who's been in there since 2021, so another multi year vet finally goes in.
[00:08:49] He's technically dropped the soprano gimmick and he's growing his hair out, he's grown his beard out.
[00:08:58] People are saying he looks like a, an odd bruiser. Brody, he looks crazy, he looks mad, he looks like a superstar. Great.
[00:09:10] So the fact that he got the title was pretty, pretty good.
[00:09:16] You know, again, everybody else in the match, including the champion, who was Joe Hendry, you know, former champions, it was basically like put all of our main event guys together. So overall, NXT did a very, very good job. Okay, now moving on to aew, because that was another positive.
[00:09:37] AEW was building towards its pay per view this Sunday in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for AEW Dynasty. Now, if you remember a year ago, I had a crazy rant on AEW Dynasty 2025 and the return of the young bucks and I trashed on it.
[00:10:02] So now, almost a year later, we got thecla or Tekla versus Jamie Hayter for the Women's World title.
[00:10:16] Again, Jamie Hayter continuing to build up the ranks. She limbos back and forth to the Women's championship contenders. And again, mind you that right now this card is sitting at five matches. I'm probably going to get a couple more added, you know, this week Actually not even this week, probably of, you know, tonight's dynamite.
[00:10:44] So we also have andrade El Idolo vs Darby Allen. If Darby wins, MJF will grant him an AEW World title shot. I believe that they are trying to build up Darby vs. MJF or Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at double or nothing in Queens, which would be really, really good.
[00:11:11] We also have Will Ospreay. He returned.
[00:11:17] We didn't do a pay per view review of Revolution.
[00:11:30] We didn't do that.
[00:11:32] That had happened during the week. I had forgotten to do it. I wanted to do it, but I couldn't.
[00:11:38] Will Ospreay came back at Revolution and he will be facing Jon Moxley for the AEW Continental title. I think that is going to be a very good match.
[00:11:50] I do feel like the build of Ospreay versus Moxley should have savored into double or nothing and then worked its way up to maybe another match. But you know, Will Ospreay, they immediately want him back into the Main title picture because a lot of sources are claiming that they are. I mean, not even sources. A lot of people are predicting that they are going to build Osprey up to have a world title match at all in in Wembley this year.
[00:12:23] So that is the case.
[00:12:25] We also got the AW World Tag Team Championship match. FTR will face the returning Christian Cage and Adam Copeland.
[00:12:38] Adam Copeland, Christian Cage. I didn't say this, you know, on a episode, but I'll say this now. Cajun Cope were legit on the shelf and were sent away for six months to do absolutely nothing.
[00:12:55] They had the match with FTR at all out in Toronto, then they left because FTR pile drived Beth Copeland, Beth Phoenix and then they left.
[00:13:13] Christian was not on AEW Television.
[00:13:19] Cope did not come back to AEW Television up until they had their match with the Young Bucks that they came back and immediately got a world tag team title shot for doing what it has been almost seven months.
[00:13:47] September 20, 2025 was the last time they tagged together and they beat FTR and you're telling me that they come back and they get an automatic title shot. And mind you, by the way, that yes, the Young Bucks are still in limbo here. So the Young Bucks could cost FTR or it could cost Cajun Cope the tag titles NFTR can retain and then double or nothing, we get a proper triple threat tag match, maybe even a ladder match. Tlc.
[00:14:23] I, I actually think that that's honestly where they might go. I think they honestly might go for AW double or nothing.
[00:14:33] Ftr, Young Bucks, Cajun Cope, TLC.
[00:14:42] In Queens. I think that that is probably the most common, you know, answer for that. And then of course the main event, MJF versus Kenny Omega again, Kenny Omega swerve Strickland, they had their feud.
[00:14:59] Strickland had claimed he wanted to be the all powerful.
[00:15:03] He said that he wanted to control everything and whatnot.
[00:15:11] So basically they had a match.
[00:15:15] It was also apparently the number one contenders match for who was going to be the number one contender for the AW World Championship at Dynasty and Kenny Omega won that match.
[00:15:35] So Bing and we got Omega versus mjf. I don't think Omega ends up beating mjf. I think that they honestly might save MJF and Osprey for all in. Although if it is Omega and they're going to build Omega, Osprey again, I don't think it's. I don't know if it's three or maybe there's more, but if they build Omega, Osprey 3 for the main event of all in. I'm not opposed to that either. I just think that mjf, you know, he's been the person that they've been needing for that main event slot.
[00:16:17] But, you know, giving something to Omega, especially with everything going on with like EVPs and like every couple of, you know, months we get a whole thing where like the EVPS take over, Omega takes over, the Young Bucks take over, and immediately it's those three just in the same group, just constantly rotating around the main event scene, whether it be the Tank tag teams or be is the main event in the singles.
[00:16:47] So constantly I'm really, I'm 50, 50. It's the only 50, 51.
[00:16:54] I, I don't think Darby is going to get it. If he beats Andrade and he has the tag or he has the World Championship match at double or nothing, I don't think he ends up getting it. They, they're really going to save Darby for like the last, last, last second. Because the main goal right now, if it was me, is getting Osprey to all in and having him face for the World Championship and then having the title change there.
[00:17:24] So that was the good parts about, you know, wrestling in the last couple of weeks.
[00:17:31] Also, another thing I'll mention for aw when they had their show in Winnipeg, another Winnipeg native came back.
[00:17:42] Chris Jericho.
[00:17:44] Chris Jericho.
[00:17:47] Mind you, Jericho was gone from AEW television for so many months.
[00:18:04] He was reported that his contract was going to be up at the end of 2025, and there was rumors that he was going to go to wwe.
[00:18:16] So basically a lot of people suggested that Chris Jericho was going to go to wwe and Jericho was, you know, go back and he was gonna have a, you know, a big return match and whatnot. And everybody was, was really, really, you know, wondering what was gonna happen. And again, he had been off since last year's Dynasty, if I'm correct.
[00:18:45] He had been off for, for so, so long.
[00:18:50] And it was quite honestly a shocker. I, I don't know why it took so long for Jericho, you know, to decide whether or not he was going to go to WWE or not.
[00:19:08] Again, this was a report back in February that Jericho was fully under his AW contract. And those beliefs was that from Jericho and AEW that his contract was frozen when he took time off. And again, this is the same thing that ended up happening since this is the same thing that ended up happening for, you know, Phoenix.
[00:19:38] Phoenix had a, a major thing, you know, a contract dispute where his contract got frozen. He wanted to be released.
[00:19:48] And then, you know, he didn't end up getting released. And a lot of people were wondering, like, what was gonna happen.
[00:19:56] So it was then reported yesterday on the Coach and Bro podcast with Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo, Tony Khan showed up and he was asked about the Jericho return and if he was close to choosing wwe.
[00:20:20] And in Tony Khan's words, he said, I can't say with any certainty. I do know that Chris had a choice and he wanted to be in aew, he would be the best person to ask. But I've been in constant communication with Chris and. And he definitely told me he wanted to be in AW and very specifically in Winnipeg on that date. We had circled it for a long time going back to last year. It was a choice that Chris made that he'd rather be in wwe. Like he is saying this three straight times. This is why it's great to be a fan of the promotion.
[00:20:59] But like, you can tell that when the promotion is just constantly spewing something and it's just, it's quite, you know, literally just.
[00:21:14] It's so stupid. It's so stupid how he's gotta, you know, reiterate a lot of things.
[00:21:22] And in his return, by the way, they only referred to him as Jericho. They didn't say Chris Jericho, they said Jericho.
[00:21:29] And the only thing he said is, AEW Winnipeg, I'm home. And then that was it. And he walked off.
[00:21:36] So it is what it is. But that was the other big news that had happened over the week.
[00:21:41] Also was announced today that on May 9th, Saturday from West Palm Beach, Florida for AEW Collision, they will be presenting AW Collision Fairway to Hell from the SoFi center on Saturday, May 9th.
[00:22:09] Quite personally, I've never heard of the SoFi. Centered it is in Palm Beach Gardens is a one of a kind experience, mostly for the golf community.
[00:22:23] So very interesting that they're gonna have that special collision happen there.
[00:22:31] But that will be May 9th.
[00:22:35] Now we gotta go over the nitty gritty.
[00:22:41] So the last couple weeks on both Raw and smackdown have been, let's just say, underwhelming.
[00:22:54] They're building towards a lot of different things, right?
[00:23:00] They're building towards WrestleMania and again, I'm not gonna spoil it, but we will be doing a live show.
[00:23:12] We'll be doing a vodcast for the rocking review which will be the prediction episode for WrestleMania 42. We will go over both cards. I will have guest on the show and we will talk about our predictions for WrestleMania.
[00:23:37] But leading up to it, there's a lot of stuff that ended up happening.
[00:23:44] One of the main things that ended up happening over time was this rivalry between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes building towards the undisputed WWE Championship title match, which will be main eventing night one of WrestleMania.
[00:24:06] So they were trying to build this feud, I guess. And if you're a fan of the.
[00:24:20] The ticket sales.
[00:24:22] Ticket sales for WrestleMania have been very mediocre. It's not what they were hoping for and it was not what they wanted initially.
[00:24:40] You know, a lot of people have been skeptical about what's going on with WrestleMania and it's, it's ticket sales.
[00:24:52] Everybody's been talking about it and they have been doing all these discounts and all these things, and right now there hasn't been a lot of stuff going on.
[00:25:08] But quite honestly, they have barely moved over 40,000 tickets.
[00:25:20] And basically the prices are going up and up every time.
[00:25:29] Now a lot of people have speculation on why this is. A lot of people say it's TKO's fault. They say it is Ari Emanuel's fault. It is everybody else fault. That basically why the ticket prices are so high. And you know, people were saying that I think it was like $11,000 for like a decent pair of seats for the Clash in Italy that will be taking place in I believe, June or July.
[00:26:02] So it's quite interesting.
[00:26:05] So with that being said, Friday, April 3rd, they were having a promo with Randy Orton and Randy Orton is saying that, you know, he's doing what he's doing because he's listening to the voices again.
[00:26:28] For the last couple of weeks, Randy Orton turned heel and then stated that he had been hearing a voice over on a phone call.
[00:26:38] So we all were led to believe. Who is this mystery person that Randy Orton is talking to over on the phone? Who is he talking to? What is it about?
[00:26:50] What, what is all of this speculating and what sense does this make for this feud that is over 20 years of history?
[00:26:59] So a lot of people assumed that it was Orton's father Bob, or a lot of people assumed that it was Arn Anderson.
[00:27:07] Some even assumed it was one of the two options of a McMahon because the Monday before Stephanie McMahon came out in the opening of the show of Madison Square Garden and she had said that this version of Randy or into somebody that Cody can't be unless he starts hearing the voices.
[00:27:34] And there is another reference to Vince McMahon.
[00:27:40] Now look, the Janelle Grant trial order case is still going on.
[00:27:49] They said that they will be finalizing that come June.
[00:27:55] So if that gets all cleared up.
[00:28:00] And if everything ends up going the way that people are assuming it, many people believe that Vince McMahon might even be coming back to WWE.
[00:28:18] And if that is the case, I pray that one nobody ends up having such a, you know, vulgar intake on.
[00:28:40] How the business is going to be.
[00:28:44] But if events comes back, I don't know anybody that's going to continue to be a fan.
[00:28:52] With that. With that being said, with that being said, they had a brawl to start the show last Friday and many people were talking about who on earth is Randy Orton on the phone with. And the person who ended up being the one to reveal himself to be from the phone was Pat McAfee.
[00:29:39] Pat McAfee, who, mind you, again did his usual stint with college football and stopped doing commentary.
[00:29:49] He came back for a few shows, including Russell Palooza.
[00:29:55] And basically Pat McAfee revealed that he was the one who has been calling Randy Orton.
[00:30:08] And many people wondered, what does Pat McAfee have to do with Randy Orton?
[00:30:16] Well, in the promo from Pen McAfee, he stated that he had thought that the business had passed by and Randy had called him up and he told him that it hasn't passed you by, it's just not looking the same anymore. Because he wants wrestling to go back to the Attitude era.
[00:30:39] He's saying that he the wrestling business is ruined because they have a corporate puppet champion that, you know, ticket sales shouldn't be so low and everything else. And there should not be tickets still to go to WrestleMania because Randy Orton is there and they are going to save the business from Cody Rhodes.
[00:31:05] So many people wondered, where was this? So the official news came out from Body Slam.
[00:31:11] Plus, the sources indicate that this was not a call from Triple H or WWE Creative, but a call straight from ari Emanuel and TKO brass.
[00:31:23] McAfee has been expected to return to WWE for quite some time now, and his comments about the business passing him by were all kayfabe. Another source indicates that Ori Emanuel believes that Pat McAfee is a star and will help elevate the program between Orton and Rhodes and get it to where it needs to be between his show on ESPN and weekly Smackdown episodes before WrestleMania in two weeks. TKO are firm believers that the mainstream names will help bring more eyes to the product and sell more tickets as they make the return to Las Vegas.
[00:32:07] So for some reason you have me believe that Ari Emanuel says that Pat McAfee is needed to move seats.
[00:32:25] I don't know in what we're in, what world or what realm Pat McAfee is a person who is going to put butts in seats.
[00:32:38] I, I, I really, I really don't know.
[00:32:45] And quite honestly, I couldn't care less about Pat being back.
[00:32:53] I mean, I always love Pat and his commentary because he's a lot better than the professional of like Joe Tessator. But again, I know why they do it.
[00:33:05] It's not uncommon. It happens.
[00:33:09] So basically, Pam McAfee goes and he says that, oh, you know, tickets need to be sold. And he starts printing the message like, go and see Randy Orton save pro wrestling. And then he puts up the wager that if Randy Orton doesn't win, then Pat McAfee will be gone from wrestling altogether.
[00:33:29] So then later in the night, by the way, Cody Rhods came back out and delivered this promo that basically told him all the corporate guys that McAfee work for can kiss his ass. And you have made Cody convince, or Cody saying that you've made me convince that I do have to listen to the voices, but you don't want to hear what they're saying.
[00:33:53] So he went out and cut that promo.
[00:33:57] And also it was reported again that Cody Rhodes was reportedly told by people in creative to go out to the ring later in the show and shoot from the hip regarding Pat McAfee and TKO.
[00:34:14] So Cody does a shoot promo or does a promo nonetheless, and it wasn't written in the format or whatever.
[00:34:24] And then it was later revealed, per PW Insider, that WB kept McAfee hidden backstage. And according to several talents, McAfee was hidden before the first segment on SmackDown and no one seemed to be aware that he was going to be revealed. Michael Hayes and Bobby reproduced the segment well. Christian Scoville was internally listed as well.
[00:34:49] It opened with Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. That turned physical with Rhodes getting the advantage until McAfee showed up and attacked the American Nightmare before delivering a promo about the TV ratings and needing to save the business.
[00:35:05] Per bodyslam.net Turns out the McAfee promo was completely unscripted and led to a change in the show. When Rhodes came out later to issue a response, there was no indication in their reporting that WWE was angry or unhappy with what McAfee said. Though it wasn't historically good for wrestling promotions. When somebody is coding a promo, telling the audience why Russ, what they're watching is bad and needs to be changed.
[00:35:32] It was also revealed again, in case anybody is confused, that Triple H is still leading week to week creative and the vast majority of WWE programming.
[00:35:46] I, I just don't know why.
[00:35:49] I don't Know why they decided to do that? I don't get it.
[00:35:56] But it is what it is. And then to make matters even more worse, they had the show.
[00:36:05] And then on Monday Night Raw two nights ago, CM Punk opened up with a promo talking about Roman Reigns. And he went into detail of why Roman is so protected and why he's so boring and that he's plastic and manufactured.
[00:36:31] And he basically listed a whole bunch of stuff, including references again to Vince McMahon, saying that Roman was a guy who ate dog food for a weird old man.
[00:36:50] And he said, that weird old man tried to treat me like a dog and told him to smile, but he had FU money and he ran away with his dignity.
[00:36:59] And he also said that I can firmly stand and stand on the bridge and be able to blow it up because I know how to swim. Because he basically saying, like, no matter what I say, I'm always going to come out on top. Which is exactly what is true about CM Punk. But also the stuff about, you know, Roman acting like he is the Rock. And he said that the Rock was a Hollywood superstar and said that, you know, he earned and paid his dues.
[00:37:35] And then he also called out Pat McAfee and he stated that a person did not need to come into his business and tell him about butts being in seats.
[00:37:50] And then he kind of sprinkled it in, but he didn't fully, fully say what he wanted to. And he talked about how maybe McAfee's agent, who shoot who shoed horn him into the deal with wwe, should tell him to lower the ticket prices.
[00:38:11] So from that, that is two straight WWE shows where they're talking about ticket prices. And it is a week before WrestleMania.
[00:38:21] Like I said, they're just under 40,000.
[00:38:25] It's trickling down almost 19 year over year.
[00:38:30] That is bad. And it's not bad because the matches are going to be bad. The matches, which we'll go over in the prediction video, which I will save until the next episode, they're not bad. The problem is, is that the storylines are like being built from AI. From a computer with no emotion, no nothing.
[00:38:51] And it is absolutely just boring.
[00:38:56] Nobody cares. It's not making compelling television.
[00:39:02] Everybody is very much just waiting for everything to, you know, fizzle out and whatnot. But the lower ticket prices, that was something that a lot of people were talking about.
[00:39:20] So this was discussed from the Observer.
[00:39:27] They said that WWE steps is taking. WWE is taking steps to reduce ticket prices following CM Punk's promo on Monday Night Raw. According to Brian Alvarez on Tuesday's edition of the Wrestling Observer Live in WWE is legitimately looking into reducing prices throughout the summer, though the decreases will be handled on a case by case basis.
[00:39:52] What I can tell you immediately after the promo was that the lower bowl tickets for WrestleMania dropped below 2000, just 2000.
[00:40:04] So they immediately lowered the ticket price of Romania, not a lot, but lower than they did before that. It was also told that not every show, but certain shows throughout the summer that they were going to have lower ticket prices.
[00:40:17] Obviously if it's in a hot market where they're easily gonna sell out or keep them, but if it's a lower market, then they won't care and they will lower the ticket prices from there on out.
[00:40:31] I really don't know what is going to happen when it comes to WrestleMania tickets.
[00:40:40] Again, if you look at the, you know, the differences from before. Then again, this was as of yesterday said that Saturday, mind you, had currently distributed over 39, 345 seats.
[00:41:06] Mind you that last year it was at 60,000.
[00:41:14] That's the other part.
[00:41:16] The current setup right now is 45.
[00:41:20] It's a 68,000 seat building at the stadium and they're having pretty much almost 20% of that is going to be tarped off.
[00:41:40] And it was also reported, again, like I said, ticket sales are 18.8% behind what they were for WrestleMania 41 at the same point last year. Now remind you, they broke records.
[00:41:56] They broke records.
[00:41:58] They're probably going to get up to 40, maybe 42 because of how close everything is.
[00:42:06] They're going to get to 42,000 for both nights and they're gonna say that it was, oh, it was something, 60,000 or whatever.
[00:42:14] It's so stupid how they're able to lie saying that. That's how many people showed up for two nights in a row when nearly 2,20,000 people are not going to show up there like they did last year because you screwed up the build to almost every single match.
[00:42:34] And your biggest match, mind you, by the way, is featuring a 27 year old Nigerian who is going to be facing Brock Lesnar.
[00:42:56] Do you understand how insane that your youngest people who are 27 in Obafemi.
[00:43:07] And then also let's not forget Trick Williams who is just 31 still, which is still at a very young age.
[00:43:20] And then not to mention another youngster in Javon Evans.
[00:43:27] Javon Evans, Legit is 21 years old.
[00:43:32] He is like, I'm not even joy. He is barely, barely three months older than I am.
[00:43:45] And, and he's going to be in WrestleMania at WrestleMania. And mind you, by the way, WrestleMania for the first time will be simulcast on the ESPN like free networks on the cable television.
[00:43:57] Night one, the first hour will be on ESPN2. Night two, the first hour will be on Espn.
[00:44:04] And I will say that the matches that will be on for night one that will be on free cable, free television will be the six man tag team match that got announced on Raw which will be La Knight in the USO's versus Austin theory. Logan Paul and I show speed.
[00:44:23] That's right, they brought out a YouTuber, a live streamer who has never been in the ring other than two minutes in the Royal Rumble last year to get speared by Bron Breaker and he is going to be in a WrestleMania match and it's going to be the opener.
[00:44:45] Along with that we're going to get Drew McIntyre versus Jacob Fatu in an unsanctioned match. So that will be quite interesting.
[00:44:55] And then for night two, obafemian Brock Lesnar which by the way capped off the Raw show and it ended with a huge brawl. And you know they're probably going to continue it on next week or something but that is their biggest match right now that they have and a lot of people debated it that it should have gone over as the main event of night one over Randy and Cody and honestly I would, I wouldn't have been opposed to that. But that is going to open up night two and then along with that is going to be a six man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship with Penta, JD McDonough, Rusev, Javon Evans, Dragon Lee and now announced Rey Mysterio.
[00:45:48] Now mind you, Rey Mysterio was rumored that he was gonna face Gunther at Wrestlemania and now Gunther is facing Seth Rollins and the storyline with that is that Gunther is asking a favor of Paul. We haven't gotten revealed of what that favor is, but my guess is is that Gunther wants to face Brock Lesnar in his last match and most likely it is predicted that it is going to be in Minneapolis at SummerSlam in in July or August I believe.
[00:46:25] So that will be very interesting.
[00:46:29] So I am looking forward to seeing that if that is the case.
[00:46:34] But overall I'll leave with this before next week's episode.
[00:46:39] And again it is a very short episode so take that what you will.
[00:46:45] WrestleMania looks like it is going to be an 8 out of 10.
[00:46:50] But the storyline and the build leading up to this has been an absolute dud.
[00:46:58] Every single match has been facing hiccup after hiccup after Hiccup because they don't know how to get the stories right.
[00:47:07] They dropped the Intercontinental Championship to PETA, even though they could have had Dominic versus Finn for the Intercontinental Championship and that would have been fine. And Penta could have done something probably with like, the Luchador or with, like, whoever. Right then you had a very clear match, which would have been Seth Rollins versus Braun Breaker. Braun Breaker gets injured almost a month and a half before Mania. That sucked.
[00:47:42] We also got to talk about Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vacu. Their entire storyline has been saying insults and just absolutely shooting on each other by hitting them ridiculously hard.
[00:47:55] On Raw, there was a segment backstage with Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, and they were talking and they were like less than three inches away. Stephanie came up behind Liv, bashed her forearm, and Liv bonked heads with Roxanne, creating a big hematoba right on her forehead.
[00:48:18] And both her and Roxanne entered concussion protocol right then and there.
[00:48:24] I don't know why they did it. I don't know why she did it as hard as she did it, but it was very, very, very disturbing.
[00:48:32] I'll say that in the least.
[00:48:34] But overall, everything else that we will be discussing for WrestleMania we will talk about on next week's episode. Until then, thank you so much for listening.
