[00:00:06] The Rocking Review Podcast Hosted by J Rock Rude Foreign Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another exciting edition of the Rocking Review Podcast. Hello, I am J Rock Rude, the host of the Rockin Review and this is episode 24 of the podcast. And again, like I have said before, probably gonna move to a bi weekly release for the time being just because of scheduling issues and availability.
[00:01:02] Today's episode we'll talk about some news around the wrestling world.
[00:01:08] A former WWE talent recently walking out of a another show and the reasonings have basically been bouncing around for the last few days. We'll go over the debacle that that is and what that tells about that promotion, certain values and how it deals with its talent. We also got an unfortunate event as a Southern promotion will be closing for this foreseeable future.
[00:01:41] It is actually a promotion that I have taken very kindly to heart within the last four years that it's been around.
[00:01:51] We'll talk about that. There has been no real explanation on why I think it's just a decisional issue. Unfortunately.
[00:02:01] We also got a former, or I should say current rapper who has been very active in the wrestling community.
[00:02:11] He has shared his displeasure about getting certain legal letters cease and desists on certain stuff about his content in which he promotes wrestling.
[00:02:24] And that was a very big topic. We also will talk about Monday Night Raw which took place this past Monday at the TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts. And it was John Cena's fourth, or I should say it was his last appearance in Boston. He has three more left. He has one in Madison Square Garden next Monday. Then he will be at Survivor Series in San Diego on the 28th, 28th or 29th. 29th, excuse me. And then he will wrestle his last match on 13 December in Washington D.C. on Saturday night's main event. And currently there is a tournament going on right now to determine who his final challenger will be.
[00:03:12] But there was something that did happen in CD Garden and John Cena in fact became a Grand Slam Champion. John Cena for the first time in his 20 plus year career, won the Intercontinental Champion for the first time ever over Dominic Mysterio off of what was a very hot segment to open up RAW and a very good episode after a very displeasable effort of shows that have happened in the last few weeks.
[00:03:42] And don't worry about covering AEW Dynamite because since this is the bi weekly release we will be going over Blood and Guts which will be happening tonight at the Greensboro Coliseum on November 12th. On Wednesday we'll go over that and we'll Also because if I don't do one next week, we won't have time to do it over Thanksgiving break. But we'll go over to a preview of AEW Full gear, which will happen at the Presidential center in New Jersey on November 22nd 2nd. So a week in three days from now. And we'll also go over Survivor Series. There's only been two matches that have been announced, and the typical War Games matches, which we'll talk more extensively about when we go over raw, and pretty much we'll go from there.
[00:04:40] So let's start with the walking out story.
[00:04:45] The former Tegan Knox Nixon Newell basically ended up walking out of a recent AEW collision taping.
[00:05:04] This came after the report happened on Sunday morning from I'd have to believe it's Mike Johnson from PW Insider.
[00:05:14] They erupted behind the scenes following AEW collision on Sunday morning when it was reported that Nixon, Newell and Miranda allies were scheduled to put over Tay Melo and Anna J on collision, but balked at the booking because they had already lost in their official debut the week before.
[00:05:33] The outlet further reported that the duo left the taping about an hour before the bell time and were replaced by Hain and My world. I have no idea who either of those two women are, but of course Anna J and Tymelo did pick up the win in that match.
[00:05:51] What began as a creative display dispute over the match outcomes soon developed into much larger backstage situation.
[00:06:01] The observer got involved and said that Brian Danielson actually got involved. The observer stated that Danielson reportedly got involved in the aftermath of the controversies around Nixon, newell and Miranda. Eliza's walkout from November 1st AW collision taping. According to sources cited in the report, Danielson personally spoke with both women and wasn't thrilled about the way that the match went. Nothing that their appearance did not fit AW's creative decision. The observer added that the incident sparked a mix of frustration and disappointment amongst members of the AEW and ROH locker rooms. Some female titan reportedly expressed sympathy for Newell and Alay's feeling that, quote, even three minutes on a show would have been a fair compromise.
[00:06:51] This sentiment reflected broader frustrations with AEW's women division over limited television time and inconsistent creative follow through. After the story gained traction online, Nixon Newell took directly to the claims through Fightful select, denying that she had ever spoken with Danielson. She stated, quote, all of that is false information. I never met Brad Ryan Danielson and have always showed nothing but respect to AEW and its roster. I've never spoken badly about the company or anyone in it. Her response appeared aimed at clearing her name and growing online speculation that the incident reflected unprofessional behavior and internal disrespect. The observer also noted that this was not the first time Noel's name had surfaced in the connection with backstage complications.
[00:07:40] The report mentioned that Newell had been in talks with another promotion earlier this year, which did not end well after certain asks, and that she, quote, previously booked for an independent wrestling appearance where she left the venue mid show without notifying the promoter or any other talent later denying the incident.
[00:08:00] While the antidotes remain unconfirmed outside the observers reporting, the larger contribution is the narrative that Newell's career since leaving WWE has been a run that has included both promising opportunities and reoccurring disputes around creative direction and communication.
[00:08:18] So to further clear up this story, basically they were intentionally told that they had to go three minutes with TJ and they did not like it.
[00:08:30] And of course they were told that there was a lot of scheduling issues.
[00:08:36] They were told that they could not be able to get an extended amount of time and the show was pretty much already booked and it couldn't be changed. So because of that, they walked out. And this was after the week before where they had filmed a segment in a vignette that basically was to aim at them being in a match together.
[00:08:56] But, you know, the whole thing from this is that the former Tegan Knox has not found much success out of her WWE release earlier last year.
[00:09:11] The fact that AEW seems to be quite literally okay with the fact that they let a talent that they had booked and reserved two of them, mind you, and both of them basically said, if we don't get our minutes in, we're just not going to wrestle for you.
[00:09:33] And they completely walk out is completely unprofessional. And she has completely driven her career right down the drain because she has decided to take this route. And she then after the speculation came that, oh, they didn't want to lose, then she made it. It's like, oh, there's no bad blood. They just called it for three minutes and everybody was just like, on their Twitch stream. And it's like, I understand what their goal is.
[00:10:00] I understand what, like, you know, maybe they don't see wrestling as substantial anymore in their revenue stream or whatever that they end up doing outside of wrestling.
[00:10:10] But man, if that's something that you're still passionate about and you, you've struggled for years to try to get up on and try to be a main event player, I wouldn't try to walk out of a major promotion show despite how much time you're given.
[00:10:26] And I hate to do a connection with the observer and everything like that, but there was a clip that recently just happened with Brian Alvarez and Filthy Tom Lawyer where a lawyer talked about how at the, I believe the first forbidden door back in 2022, 2023.
[00:10:47] This was as they were building Adam Cole and MJF and the better the new Bebe storyline where Adam Cole was set to face Tom Lawyer. But Adam Cole had to pull out of the event and instead they gave Tom Lawyer Serpentico, a random luchador. And he went from his match being on the main show to being on the pre show, which was a dark match. And then he was told then that his match time had been cut down to three minutes.
[00:11:22] So it's like, what's the point of it anymore? You know, what's the point if you're, you're gonna cut time off of certain things? And you know, I think both faults are at this really both Nixon and aew. Because if AEW is providing more time for, for stuff that probably doesn't need as much time to build on a minute collision, absolutely falling apart at the seams with the ratings, the viewership, the amount of people that actually notice what's going on and that they have to connect story lines that go from collision to dynamite, you know, constantly on a regular basis. You know, it's kind of odd how you can't like listen and say, oh yeah, you want maybe five minutes? Okay, five minutes, Five minutes tops. Five minutes tops. But you got to get in and out of the ring because we got another segment we got to produce. That's all you need to do. That's all you need to do. But aw, gotta reserve that time for, for Kyle Fletcher and, and all these other people. And it's like, okay, that's fun but you know, what's the point in that? So that was like one of the major stories that broke out. This story also broke out.
[00:12:31] Most of these stories, these news stories that I'm reporting right now, both of the broke out and that around the same time during the weekend.
[00:12:38] This one very much hits the heart as, as a fan and as a supporter of this promotion, uh, Carolina based promotion, Deadlock Pro Wrestling has declared that their next scheduled US event, their fourth anniversary show, set for Friday, December 12th in Cary, North Carolina in a subsequent show in Japan during 2026, will be the final DVW events for the foreseeable future.
[00:13:09] The announcement came from the X page where the official Twitter account stated that the next DPW event will be our fourth anniversary event in Carry North Carolina on December 12th. We will run one more event in Japan at 2026, but this will be the final DPW event for this foreseeable future.
[00:13:32] So information on the fourth anniversary show in North Carolina is that all tickets for December 12th will be $1 plus event bright fees and taxes. A nice gesture to allow quote anybody who's ever wanted to attend a DPW show to do so. There is also an option to donate when purchasing tickets and on site donations will be collected. The proceeds will go to a regionally based food bank, the Food bank of Central and eastern North Carolina.
[00:14:03] DPW will also match the gate in donations up to $10,000.
[00:14:09] The statement from DPW closed with it's been an absolute pleasure to produce DPW events these past four years. Thank you to all the fans, wrestlers and everyone behind the scenes that made this all possible.
[00:14:21] And of course DPW opened up in 2021 and has become one of the most top independent promotions in the U.S. the show has featured such talents as Violence since Forever, Dominic Garini and Kevin Koo, Javon Evans, formerly known as J Malachi, Adam Priest, Cedric Alexander, Roderick Strong, Shaquan Sug, AKA the former Lucky Ali, and more.
[00:14:45] For those who do not know what Deadlock Pro Wrestling is, it was made by three very kind and absolutely amazing wrestling content creators, James Darnell, Anthony Douglas and John Blood.
[00:15:02] They have been around for quite literally over a decade and a half producing wrestling content through video games.
[00:15:12] Their podcast, which basically was the inspiration for me starting this podcast and I I've been a patron supporter on their Patreon for the last three years.
[00:15:24] Technically I didn't start immediately, but then I just started pretty much. I think it was like February of 2024 last year. But I've been a constant listener and just the amazing content that they've been able to produce on all their YouTube channels.
[00:15:42] You know James Darnell with CM Pulse and Danthony Douglas is Tony Pizza Guy and John Blood and his his group at New Legacy Inc.
[00:15:53] I mean it's, it's an absolute pleasure watching them and seeing how this company has grown in the last four years and them being able to produce talent like Jay Malachi AKA Javon Evans. And you know, spoiler for Raw. Javon Evans is going to be in the Last Time is Now tournament to be John Cena's final opponent and he's already been featured on main roster television. He was in a US Open Challenge match with Sami Zayn. He has wrestled for aaa.
[00:16:26] He has wrestled for tna and after last night it was made official that at their next show, which is nxt, Gold Rush will be taking place at the Garden at msg.
[00:16:40] He will be getting a tag team championship opportunity will be him and Ex Division champ Leon Slater against Dark State.
[00:16:49] So for the fact that and also Dark State has Saquon Sugars, another DPW alum. He went by the name of Lucky Ali. Both Jay Malachi and Lucky Ali were both DPW champions beforehand. Actually Jay Malachi was DPW champ as he was getting called up to wwe.
[00:17:07] So for the fact that they're going to be closing down, it's going to be very sad. I I hope it's not for the foreseeable future.
[00:17:15] I I hope it's kind of like a regrouping type of thing where they need to think about this long term.
[00:17:22] They've been running shows outside of the Texas area, this Texas territory.
[00:17:29] Of course, as I mentioned, they've been over to Japan several times. They've gone to California, they've gone around the New Jersey area, but mostly they have stayed around the new North Carolina area.
[00:17:42] You know, so that's really big.
[00:17:45] But yeah, it is super sad to see this amazing and thriving company to close its doors for the foreseeable future. Hopefully it's not forever.
[00:17:55] But my best wishes over there for for the Deadlock Crew and everybody, J, Johnny, Tony, you know, best wishes and I really hope that DPW is able to to make a a comeback and that is for true and absolute ski. Well finally for the news topics, this was kind of big.
[00:18:21] I I was definitely not expecting this to give backstory.
[00:18:26] For those who do not know about Griselda Records, Griselda Records was started out in Let me just pull up here. Griselda Records was a record label out of Buffalo, New York. It was founded by three main people, Westside Gun Conway the Machine, who is his brother and Mac Homie in 2012.
[00:18:55] For those who do not know like who is in Griselda Records, it is legit. Like it's the top those top three. It is people like Westside Gun Conway, the Machine, Benny the Butcher, Ammani, Caesar Baldy James, Rome Streets. They also had connections with a whole bunch of people.
[00:19:22] You know, they have been able to have a deal with a Shady Records, you know. So you know that's really good.
[00:19:33] But man, Griselda Records, you know, has definitely been a very big group. And Westside Gun in particular, he's Buffalo native.
[00:19:47] He was born in Buffalo.
[00:19:51] And man, I mean like, I can't say like, this guy leg is an absolute gem.
[00:19:59] He's definitely not your typical rap guy.
[00:20:02] He's not in the mainstream. But like, man, he, he has flows and he works with, with different producers like Alchemist and, you know, all these other people. And he's absolutely great. But the one thing that separates him from a lot of other rappers is he has been widely known for spreading wrestling content.
[00:20:24] And this past weekend that came to a screeching halt.
[00:20:30] So this is from the article on Complex. It says west side Gun, Buffalo rapper known for weaving wrestling imaginary in his music, claimed WWE mistreated him despite years of support. In a post shared to X on Saturday, Gunn wrote, for years he quote, for years, I mean, nobody within two feet has spent the amount of money I have supporting and pushing a brand I've loved since I could remember. I sat front row at every big show, literally. He said he was escorted by 803 after spending nearly $5,000 between seat, hotel and travel for a hometown Raw appearance, calling it absolutely nothing in return.
[00:21:15] For those who do not know, this was the same Raw where EOS guy beat Rhea Ripley.
[00:21:21] This was after the Royal Rumble. It was either after the Royal Rumble or it was after Elimination Chamber, if I remember correctly. I believe it was after Elimination Chamber after the John Cena heel turn. The situation worsened when GUN received a legal letter after putting up Million Dollar man billboard to honor wrestling icons Ted DiBiase and the late Virgil. For those who do not know basically why he, he's put wrestlers and songs.
[00:21:54] He also has put out wrestling cover art.
[00:21:57] His recent, his, his recent albums, Heels have Eyes, they've been featured with Million, with the Million Dollar man, with the million dollar title and with Virgil.
[00:22:14] There is a connection to an actual Virgil in the rap industry.
[00:22:20] But basically, yeah, he was promoting Hills have Eyes 3. It was a three part album series.
[00:22:28] And I mean this guy has like pretty much like three albums per year. Like he's been massively producing every single time.
[00:22:36] But yeah, he, he continually promotes W like making WB legends and icons as cover arts and stuff like that. He's had, you know, he, he had Sid Vicious on one, Psycho Sid and then of course, like I mentioned, Hills have Eyes, uh, he had uh, Million dollar man, Ted DiBiase.
[00:22:58] Gun further alleged WB threatened his music catalog claiming that they warmed him to take everything out of his music or his whole catalog would be demolished. He added that he tried to reason with, quote, one individual in wwe, but felt that the issue steamed from Bias saying that the person, quote, hates seeing a young black successful entrepreneur that could afford those seats. Instead, Westside Gun is channeling his wrestling passion into his own creative universe. His company, 4th Rope, that's 4th Rope, recently held a full scale wrestling event at Six Flags to celebrate the release of heels have eyes 3. Blending his music and wrestling fandom into one spectacle. And again, he's had wrestlers like Zillow, Fatu, the Hori Boys, and one of his key people that he started the company with, wrestler by the name of Josh Bishop.
[00:23:59] Gun concluded that he is finished promoting WWE and will now put his energy into those who actually love me. End quote.
[00:24:09] So in short, Westside Gun has always been promoting wrestling content.
[00:24:19] And in fact, for those who do not know, the Hurt Syndicate uses his song that he made with MVP and other contributors at Griselda Records. They use that as their theme song.
[00:24:36] So it seems like not everybody in the wrestling world is super mad at him, but apparently WWE is. I, I don't know why it's crazy because this was right before the Travis Scott situation and then after that they completely dumped Travis Scott. So I wonder like, what's the deal with rappers in wwe?
[00:24:59] But, but man, I mean, like, listen, I'll tell you this much.
[00:25:06] WWE is giving out tickets to celebrities to go to shows. West side Gun had to purchase his own tickets.
[00:25:15] West side Gun purchased his own tickets to sit front row, look like how he did and basically have fun at a wrestling event. That is something that he has been a fan of for years and he has included them in song titles. Like I mentioned, he included them in song lyrics.
[00:25:36] So for the fact that they absolutely dislike him, it kind of rubs me the wrong way. Kind of rubs me like you're just very worried about, you know, what's going to end up happening when you see that he's successful and he has been successful. But, but the fact that now Westside Gun is going to have to, you know, sit on the sidelines and not have to talk about one of the biggest wrestling promotions in his music is kind of sad. So I felt bad for west side Gun. I feel bad for a lot of Griselda records. I don't know how much this is going to change for everybody else that continues to talk about wrestling. But. But no, that fourth Rope promotion, it's kind of crazy.
[00:26:23] All the people that's in fourth Rope, you know, I could go on a list of like, who, who he has like quote unquote sign there, but you know, it's quite crazy.
[00:26:35] We will now shift into the Raw review.
[00:26:39] This took place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
[00:26:44] And to start off the show, Triple H came out.
[00:26:51] He opened up the show with reflecting of quote. We're living in a magical time, he says, A time when everyone has their opinion, especially when it comes to this business.
[00:27:03] I wonder why he stated that.
[00:27:06] Kind of don't you think that he's stating everybody has their opinions.
[00:27:13] I'll just say this before we kick into it. I think WWE is in need of a creative shake up.
[00:27:20] It was reported weeks ago that there were some changes that were made to smackdown.
[00:27:26] They had that phenomenal smackdown in Australia.
[00:27:31] Then they had Ilya Dragunov come back, have him win the US title.
[00:27:39] Pretty much after that, it's been absolute trash.
[00:27:43] I'll mention one thing that did happen on smackdown last week.
[00:27:49] Julia, the Women's US Champion, lost to Chelsea Green in three minutes.
[00:27:59] So Chelsea Green becomes the first ever two time Women's US Champion.
[00:28:07] So they have no idea how to manage any of the Mid Car titles. Clearly because spoiler alert, the women contesting for the Intercontinental Championship on the women's side on RAW is Becky lynch and Maxine Dupree.
[00:28:31] Maxine Dupree is sure as hell not going to beat Becky lynch in Madison Square Garden next Monday.
[00:28:40] And they're not a part of War Games, but they could be a part of War Games depending on what happens.
[00:28:46] But the fact that they had Julia, somebody who everybody was super high on after she had basically turned away from being in AEW and she chose to go to nxt, she hit it up there, won some titles, had a match with Stephanie for Cure, then she showed up on smackdown and then won the US Championship from I believe it was Meechan.
[00:29:18] She won the championship and then pretty much from there did about absolutely nothing.
[00:29:27] So oh, I don't know what to tell you.
[00:29:33] It's just how it is.
[00:29:37] So now he continued saying that few agree on much nowadays.
[00:29:47] Who is the greatest of all time?
[00:29:49] He said that greatness could be measured by in ring performance, charisma, mic skills, PR ability and box office draw. He emphasized it's all subjective. I could see it as a fan, a talent, a performer, a businessman and a promoter. He then concluded that this person gave it his all. He is the single greatest asset this business has ever seen. He is without a doubt the greatest of all time.
[00:30:16] And he introduced John Cena.
[00:30:19] John Cena came out. He wore the lucky green of the Boston Celtics, who by the way had lost to the Philadelphia Sixers in a wild game last night, Cena said what happens in WWE is a team effort and the fans are a part of it. His goal, he explained, was to leave the business better than he found it and to pay back all the opportunities to showcase myself.
[00:30:48] He thanked the fans for putting up with him over the years and announced that December 13th will be a night to close a chapter, calling it a big night of opportunity where main roster stars would hold exhibitions for the brightest that NXT has to offer.
[00:31:06] I'm gonna stop right there.
[00:31:10] So to his words, he wants his last event that he's going to be at Saturday night's main event in Washington D.C. to be an exhibition for a younger talent.
[00:31:24] So he wants to push the younger talent. He said that on live television.
[00:31:33] He said that he wanted to basically give the younger talent, you know, a vision of the future. He wanted to give them opportunity. So when I hear that and after what happened in this segment, the one thing I have in here is that I don't think a main event person should be his final opponent.
[00:32:03] I don't think that they should give it to a person like Gunther. I don't think they should give it to a person like Seamus.
[00:32:12] I don't even think they should give it a person like, you know, Jay uso. God, if they do it to Jay uso, holy cow, you will see it. Uproar of horrible, horrible things, man.
[00:32:24] You know, after what we got from WrestleMania, it could be even worse than WrestleMania. Think about that. His two biggest achievement, well, his three biggest achievements, two of them could be he had the worst WrestleMania main event and won his record breaking 17th championship.
[00:32:43] Then in his last match he faces Jey Uso, who absolutely was horrible at Saturday night's main event.
[00:32:52] I mean we, we didn't even go over that because again like I said, that was last week. So we didn't even go over how Saturday's main event was that Punk Jey uso match. Absolutely terrible.
[00:33:08] Absolutely terrible. It got four stars from the Observer. I don't know how it legit only got there because Meltzer is a fan of punk. We know that for sure.
[00:33:20] You know, only reason he got like anything above even close to a five stars because he was involved with a talent that Meltzer like. So anywho, with that being said, the person I have, a lot of people are saying, oh, it should be all before me. Well, all before me last night just returned nxt. So he's gonna be the only person that I see being John Cena's last match.
[00:33:51] And it could be something that would be amazing for his career.
[00:33:56] And he doesn't even have to lose. He doesn't. He doesn't even have to win. He just has to be a part of the match.
[00:34:03] And at the end of the night, John Cena gives him his approval and says, this is the guy.
[00:34:10] That person is not Bron Breaker. That person is not Obafemi.
[00:34:16] That person is Carmelo Hayes.
[00:34:19] Stick with me.
[00:34:21] I understand why people do not like Carmelo Hayes. He's busy with his current thing with the Miz.
[00:34:29] I understand.
[00:34:31] But when you think about the connections, I mean, even think about it, when Carmelo Hayes debuted on nxt, he told Adam Cole the same ruthless aggression spot that John Cena had given Kurt Angle almost, I want to say, at that point, 18 years before.
[00:34:51] So for the fact that you know how Carmelo Hayes has been on the main roster in the last year, you would have thought that he would be much more of a big deal, but instead he's not.
[00:35:07] He's a person on the sideline that has promos week to week, but continues to be put off to the side.
[00:35:17] If you put Carmelo Hayes in that match, whether he wins or loses and you get the signal of approval from John Cena, that should immediately push him into as horrible as it would be.
[00:35:34] That would push him into mid card status and he would then be on a singles run that he's never had before.
[00:35:44] And then that's how you also set up Trick Williams coming in and them continuing their feud on the main roster.
[00:35:52] There is no other opportunity for a young talent good enough as Carmelo Hayes. You can make accusations all you want of who you think is better, but there's still four more people have to be announced for this tournament.
[00:36:15] And then after that they have to go on and face whoever else is in the tournament and, you know, whatnot. But I'm telling you this, I'm looking forward to if Carmelo Hayes is in that tournament and he's announced this Friday, if he's announced this Friday, he is my pick.
[00:36:34] He is my pick.
[00:36:37] I don't know who's the second option. I really don't.
[00:36:42] Cena also admitted that he selfishly wanted to go back to Boston one last time.
[00:36:48] He got emotional during this part and he spoke about the greatness of the TD Garden and want to thank everybody. And then all of a sudden, the Intercontinental champion, the King of the Luchadors, Dominic Mysterio, he interrupted speaking Spanish. He tried to talk to Triple H and he said that, Triple H, I heard that you talked about the future of the business.
[00:37:19] And he wanted to know what Triple H was gonna do about his dad interrupting him the week before.
[00:37:25] And he basically said, I'm here to interrupt old men because all that matters is me.
[00:37:35] Cena then chimed in, said, let me restart.
[00:37:42] Dominic, welcome to Boston, Massachusetts.
[00:37:48] And Dominic just turned right towards him and said, this isn't about you or Boston.
[00:37:55] How about you go sit in the corner, speak when you're spoken to, or I will lay you out.
[00:38:07] And then, of course, Cena taken back, he. He delivers the two words that means that if you don't got something good to say, don't say it at all because you're done. He says, fine speech, man.
[00:38:24] He goes, I think in a mischief, all your anger, ego, you forgot who you're talking to. You're talking to John Cena.
[00:38:33] In any other night, any other city, I would have given you a chance. But tonight you don't get that chance. Tonight, I'm invincible.
[00:38:44] Wrong. And he said, if your next words are to challenge me, you will lose.
[00:38:51] Wrong time, wrong place, wrong guy.
[00:38:55] And he said, but I will give you an opportunity out of respect I have for your father.
[00:39:02] Dominican laughed, replying to Cena, saying that he would need more than magic to touch him, because he claimed that he hasn't even reached his peak yet. And he's better than John Cena ever was in his prime.
[00:39:14] And he gets right in Cena's face and he says, anytime, any place, any era, I would have whooped John Cena's.
[00:39:26] He looked so confident. And I'm just gonna say this next to CM Punk, yes. Better than Cody Rhodes, better than Logan Paul, better than AJ Styles.
[00:39:39] Dominic Mysterio matched up to CM Punk on the mic tonight. Or not on the mic tonight, but on the mic Monday night.
[00:39:47] And it was absolutely aside to see, because I could just see it in his eyes. He didn't stop.
[00:39:52] He didn't think of it at all.
[00:39:54] This guy is carrying two major, major titles for two different promotions, the Intercontinental Championship and the AAA Mega Championship, which he still has to defend.
[00:40:09] Triple H then stepped in and told Cena to back away. And he said, I agree with the fans. The fans were chanting, you effed up to Dominic. They booed him relentlessly in the segment.
[00:40:22] He then added, and he said that Dominic said, anytime, any place, in the era. He says, seems like a pretty good era to me.
[00:40:31] Boston seems like a really good place to be right now.
[00:40:37] And it seems like the time is perfect.
[00:40:41] So tonight, Dominic, you will put the IC title on the line. Against John Cena.
[00:40:47] And then before you can even note it, he said get me a referee and let's get to work. So for the opening match to John Cena's last appearance in Boston, they gave him the Intercontinental Championship match.
[00:41:01] This match went about 14 minutes with commercial time. There's only two commercials in this.
[00:41:09] The match began with Dom attacking Cena right after the break. Cena took control early until Dominic countered the attitude adjustment and hit a DDT with a slingshot sends on.
[00:41:19] Much of the action was missed during the commercial breaks. Cena then mounted his usual comeback with the five moves of doom. But Dominic again escaped the AA and sent Cena shoulder first into the post.
[00:41:30] Dominic then exposed the turnbuckle to distract a ref and then grabbed a steel chair to do the Eddie fake out.
[00:41:39] But then Cena turned the tables drop in the chair and both of them laid down next to each other.
[00:41:45] Big Eddie chance erupted from Boston.
[00:41:48] After another exchange, Cena accidentally after Dom was holding on to the ropes, he knocked down the referee, then locked into the stf and of course with the referee out, Dominic tapped, Cena released the hold and Dominic tried to use the IC title as a weapon. But Cena dodged and hit an aa.
[00:42:10] A second referee ran in and Dominic was able to kick out right at two.
[00:42:15] Dominic then fired back with a six, one nine and a frog splash. But as soon as he went down, Cena rolled through and hoisted Dom up and hit a second emphatic attitude adjustment for the 1, 2, 3.
[00:42:29] With that, John Cena has won the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career, completing his grand Islam after a two decade career. And the crowd erupted and Cena celebrated with a belt, said thank you Boston. Because of you, the champ is here.
[00:42:49] It's a feel good moment.
[00:42:51] It's a feel good moment for John Cena to finally win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.
[00:42:59] I know that that is something that he has wanted for a very long time and they knew that they had to do it here and now there is rumors that he will be fighting somebody and he'll probably defend that championship at MSG next week.
[00:43:15] Who is against? I don't know. Maybe they do a rematch and Dominic and the judgment day basically cross Cena and Cena ends up losing the title back to Dominic. I don't know why, but it could be possible.
[00:43:32] Later in the night, CM Punk came to the ring in his fight gear, microphone in hand. He declared that he wanted a fight. He said he always knew Logan Paul was a piece of garbage. But didn't know that the piece of garbage he really was, adding that while Logan wouldn't give him a title shot or he wouldn't give Logan title shot, he would beat his broccoli headed millennial ass.
[00:43:57] Logan then came out acting humble, mocked Punk and asked if he was mad because I'm smarter than you, I'm smarter than everyone in this arena. Punk then cut him off telling him to shut up just as Paul Heyman and the rest of the Vision, Bronson Reed and Braun Breaker appeared beside Logan on the stage. Hammondor into Punk calling him the most unlikable human being he's ever met, adding that he has no friends not because they betray you, but because you betray them. You're one miserable rotten bastard. He says he twisted the knife by even saying that you couldn't be any more unlikable unless your name was AJ Lee.
[00:44:36] Punk then fired back saying that if AJ was there she'd leave all four of you in a pool of your own piss and blood.
[00:44:44] He then told them, I'm the only one here, so come get me.
[00:44:48] As the heels advance towards the ring, Jey USO suddenly hit the scene and backed up Punk and there was still a numbers game, two on four. But then all of a sudden from the ramp, Cody Rhodes comes out.
[00:45:04] He charged to the ring with his title full six man brawl between three men.
[00:45:13] Punk went after Heyman until Logan pulled him off. Cody jab Breaker with a chair and Pat Punk smashed Reed across the back and Cody and Jay finally clothesline Reed over the top rope as the crowd roared.
[00:45:30] So for some strange reason they have decided to add Cody Rhodes to the mix.
[00:45:40] Why? I do not know.
[00:45:42] I do not know what the purpose of Cody being in this match. Because on Smackdown, Drew McIntyre interrupted a match between Cody Rhodes and Alistair Black and he hit the claymore on the ref in the match which got him in Kayfabe suspended indefinitely. In reality he's going out to shoot a movie and now with Cody having no plans at Survivor Series, they're immediately going to put him in the War Games match with Jay and Punk against Division and whoever that they end up getting.
[00:46:14] So I don't know what their plans are with Cody, but I'll talk more about it when we go over Survivor Series we had a women's championship match between Stephanie Vaccure and Raquel Rodriguez. This went about 11 minutes.
[00:46:32] It opened up with Stephanie trying for her Devil's Kiss finisher early, but Raquel countered, lifting her up into a electric chair position and dropping her face first into the turnbuckle. The cloud was mostly quiet until Stephanie railed with a brief little comeback. She went for SVP or svb, but Rodriguez size made it impossible to hit. Stephanie then tried for a tornado DDT which Rodriguez blocked and turned into a vertical suplex followed by a big boot.
[00:47:06] Rodriguez dominated until Stephanie locked her in a rope assisted submission.
[00:47:11] Outside the ring, Roxanne Perez tried to interfere, but Nikki Bella came down to the ring and stopped her, throwing Perez into the barricade to protect Stephanie. Fakira then attempted a flying cross body off the top, but Rodriguez caught her mid air and delivered a fallaway slam. Ryu's then went for her big elbow drop but Stephanie dodged it, hit Devil's Kissed and then nailed her corkscrew moonsaults for the three count afterwards. Nikki Bella now again last week Nikki was doing all this schmazzing and you know, kissing up to Stephanie, letting Stephanie's guard down and who could have predicted it? But after the match Nikki joined Stephanie congratulating with her lifting up her hand and then she immediately blasted Stephanie with a big clothesline and a big forearm and hit Stephanie in the face with a championship and stood tall over her body.
[00:48:18] So it looks like we're Getting Stephanie Vacura vs Nikki Bella for Survivor Series.
[00:48:25] Sure that'll draw people.
[00:48:28] The one thing I've heard all around is oh well she's lost three matches.
[00:48:34] Well sometimes it's not really about the matches, it's about the connection that you have with the person.
[00:48:39] Sure they might have not earned it, but I mean thought about, think about it. Stephanie wants revenge. She's gonna get revenge over Nikki.
[00:48:47] We then went backstage. Adam Pierce approached Punk, Rhodes and Jay after the earlier brawl. Punk still fired up, said he was pissed and he now had a team and he challenged Paul to get any one of his own and he's tired of the games. And then Pierce asked Punk if he really meant what he was implying and the Punk shouted one word, he says Regal.
[00:49:09] And then to a big crowd reaction, William Regal appears from off screen and he of course shouts war Games.
[00:49:19] So we got War Games going on.
[00:49:21] It'll be Paul, Reed and Breaker and potentially a couple others against Cody, Rhodes, Jey, USO and Punk and most likely going to be Roman Reigns who's going to turn back up in gonna turn back up in MSG next week.
[00:49:45] We then went to the second of the two tournament matches for the last time is now tournament to determine John Cena's final opponent.
[00:49:54] Nothing really happened in the match before. It was rusev and Damian Priest. Damian Priest had a interesting contact lens after the fireball from Alistair Black a couple weeks ago.
[00:50:05] Rusev won off the Machka kick, but the better match was this match, Seamus vs Shinsuke Nakamura.
[00:50:15] Seamus controlled much of the action through the commercial break afterward. Nakamura fought back hitting a superplex for a near fall.
[00:50:21] Sheamus shrugged off a series of Nakamura's kicks and delivered the 10 beats of the Bowdrin before attempted a broke kick which Nakamura countered with a rough looking sling bait.
[00:50:32] Nakamura tried to regain momentum by going to the top rope but Sheamus caught him with a running knee strike for a two.
[00:50:38] Seamus then went for the Avalanche right noise but Nakamura countered into a power bomb followed by an insecurity.
[00:50:45] However, as Nakamura rebounded off the ropes, Seamus suddenly connected with a bro kick out of nowhere and secured the pin fall victory. So that means that Seamus will proceed and advance in the tournament.
[00:51:05] Then it was announced that the next matches that are to be announced for next week on Raw.
[00:51:11] The return of Gunther has been announced and he will be facing Javon Evans.
[00:51:17] Of course, like I said, Gunther is currently the common projected pick to win the tournament outright. It was reported back in October there is a chance that it actually will happen this time.
[00:51:32] I am not sure if that is going to be completely true, but we will have to find out.
[00:51:40] We also will be getting Solo Sokoa against a mystery opponent. This is the second mystery opponent announced because this Friday we have J USO and the Miz and we also have La Knight against a surprise opponent.
[00:51:59] People are rumoring it's going to be Chris Jericho.
[00:52:04] People are rumoring that it's going to be somebody like Nick Nemeth.
[00:52:09] They're gonna say it's somebody like Joe Hendry.
[00:52:13] I would imagine Solo Sokoa versus Joe Hendry more than La Knight versus Joe Hendry. They needed to have somebody big end up beating La Knight.
[00:52:24] Those were the matches that we got for the My time is now or last time is now a tournament and we then shifted to the main event.
[00:52:33] So Charlotte Flair and Oscar Alexa Bliss defend their Women's Tag Team Championships against Oscar and Kyrie, saying the Kabuki warriors again the Women's Tag Team Championships. Man what a mid title.
[00:52:46] The Women's Tag teams divisions is absolutely crippled.
[00:52:51] They have nobody.
[00:52:53] The match started with Asuka and Kyrie isolating Bliss after some control from Charlotte.
[00:53:01] After the break, Charlotte made a fiery hot tag hitting a double crossbody in a moonsault for a near fall.
[00:53:07] Bliss connected with Sister Abigail on Zayn but chaos broke out as all of a sudden Nia, Jax and Lash Legend interfered, breaking up Charlotte's figure eight on Oscar.
[00:53:19] Bliss tried to fight them off but Zayn shoved her into the announce table. Asuka then hit Charlotte from behind and held her in place for Kyrie's insane elbow and scored the 1, 2, 3 to become the new women's tag team champions.
[00:53:35] After the match, Bliss was laid out by Jax and Legend who by the way Jax couldn't be able to fit in her tank top.
[00:53:45] Iyo sky then ran in to even the odds but was taken out by a vicious clothesline from the rookie legend and then Rhea Ripley wearing a another protective mask.
[00:54:01] It's funny how she's gonna go into War Games two years in a row with a mask on because they've laid her out and unfortunately she cannot stop getting nose fractures. I do not know why she continues to have her nose broken.
[00:54:22] So I was wondering when it happened. It happened over the Japan trip when they took she cleared the ring, taken out Zayn with a riptide over the top rope. It wasn't a riptide over the top rope, it was a razor's edge over the top rope and man, I mean sane fell hard.
[00:54:41] Standoff between Ripley, eo, Charlotte and Bliss faced off against Nia, Jax, Lash Legend, Oscar and Kyrie sang. And of course Ripley grabbed the mic and yelled War Games to close the show.
[00:54:54] Again, mediocre ending when it comes to announcing the two War Games matches, but we'll get into that shortly.
[00:55:03] But while we still have time, let's talk about what will be happening tonight at the Greensboro First Horizon Coliseum.
[00:55:14] And it will be the, I want to say the fifth annual Blood and Guts special show.
[00:55:24] We have two Blood and Guts matches.
[00:55:27] That's right. For the first time ever, there will be a women's blood and guts match.
[00:55:36] It will be a 6 on 6 women's matchup.
[00:55:41] For the Heels, you got Marina Shafir, Megan Bain, Mercedes Monet and the Triangle of Madness, Julia Hart, Sky Blue and Thecna or Tekla versus Harley Cameron, Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale. As you can probably already tell, this entire match is completely overdone. It is overbooked. You are going to see there's only three matches here. This is probably gonna take up more than half of the entire time. You have six people.
[00:56:19] Six.
[00:56:22] Meanwhile, the men only have five.
[00:56:27] And this goes with the Nixon Newell situation because why on earth are they having all these people basically build up and you already know that The Faces are gonna win because currently they got to build up Kris Statlander and Mercedes because they have their match at full gear and we already know Mercedes is going to win.
[00:56:55] So the Heels and the bad girls got to take the the L in this match.
[00:57:03] Then we have the men's blood and guts. We have Darby Allen, Roderick Strong and the Conglomeration.
[00:57:09] For some reason, Roger Strong is not included in the Conglomeration.
[00:57:13] But as part of the Conglomeration it will be Kyle O'Reilly, Mark Briscoe and Orange Cassidy.
[00:57:18] And they're going to take on the Death Riders, Claudio, Daniel Garcia, Jon Moxley, Pac and Willer Yuta.
[00:57:32] Again, I do not know how long that they are going to push this Death Riders gimmick.
[00:57:43] It's just getting a little bit too much for me personally. I just don't think I can handle it.
[00:57:49] You're just gonna see a bunch of gross crazy spots in here.
[00:57:53] And for our other match we have a non title false count anywhere match between Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs.
[00:58:01] One of the things I will mention from last week that I was super mad about is that apparently they are going to.
[00:58:15] Oh man, they, they had a trio's tag team match last week between Hook, Hangman, Page and there was another, another person. I, I think I'm forgetting it was Hook Page.
[00:58:41] Oh man, I already forgot it and I'm not going to stress about it, but it was, it was all of them. And basically what ended up happening was Powerhouse Hobbs delivered a strongest slam to Paige off the stage and then came back to the ring and got the win off of the torture rack on Hook who tapped out.
[00:59:05] So I don't know, man. I don't know.
[00:59:11] It's crazy how we're getting Samoa Joe versus Hangman out of Page a full gear and meanwhile you are building up Powerhouse Hobbs as the person who took out the world champion when that should be the main challenger like Samoa Joe, but I guess not.
[00:59:31] We then got to look at the Saturday tailgate brawl for full gear. This is going to be the pre show. It's going to be the collision.
[00:59:43] There is going to be a random tag match. The Acclaim will face two surprise opponents.
[00:59:49] And in another tag match, Roppongi Vice of Rocky Romero and Trent Pareto will take on the team of Boom and Doom with Big Justice, Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall. You know, QT Marshall AKA holding on to a freaking paycheck.
[01:00:07] Dude, they brought, they brought in freaking Big Boom agent, they brought in this AJ Dustis, bro.
[01:00:15] And every single time, man, he's demoted. He's not even on AEW anymore. He's on Ring of Honor forming alliances with people that he once had a feud with.
[01:00:33] And they have to do something because Hades got to see him as the good guy.
[01:00:38] My God. Real quickly, I'm a. I'm gonna go back.
[01:00:42] I haven't looked this up yet.
[01:00:45] I want to look up how many matches he's had in between.
[01:00:49] Like these matches.
[01:00:52] Yep, exactly what I thought.
[01:00:55] His last official indie date was at CCW where he tagged with the Iron Savages who beat Five Star Era era Ricky Martinez and Elliot Crow in a 26 minute match. I bet you 100% but you 100% that the Iron Savage has carried that match.
[01:01:25] Good God.
[01:01:28] Insane.
[01:01:30] He's only. He's. Oh my God. I don't know if he's. I don't. I think he's only lost how many matches in his career.
[01:01:40] Mean he started in 99 for UWC.
[01:01:45] Let's see. Let's see his match statistics. His match statistics. He's a 27 wins and only 19 losses.
[01:01:56] He has never lost. He has never lost. He hasn't lost the match since 2002.
[01:02:02] That's insane. And mind you, between 2025 and 2003 he's had a total of eight matches. He had a total of eight matches and he's won every single one of them for the last 12 years. He's won every single one of them.
[01:02:24] That's funny.
[01:02:27] So that's the pre show and then the official card for full gear.
[01:02:32] We got the 1 million dollar 6 man tag team match.
[01:02:36] Funny enough, they. I don't even know if they were even on the other Dynamite. But the storyline that the Bucks need money every single time because they're trying to recreate the broke and unhappy Corbin Gimmick. They're gonna team with Josh Alexander and go up against Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega for a million dollars. Really grabbing your. Your three EVPs wrestle for an imaginary million dollars.
[01:03:13] Tony's been doing this for like the last year and a half where he puts up a random stake of money and because of the tag match they'll be even distributed so they only get about like 200,000, 20,000, 25, 000. I don't know.
[01:03:30] It's insane how they think that that is entertaining and that's what we want to see out of the young bucks who are supposed to be the. The biggest tag team. Mind you, like FDR is on this card. They're at least getting a world tag team title shot. Against Bandido and Brody King.
[01:03:53] Personally I think FTR should win that match.
[01:03:56] As far as the six man tag, you know it's going to go to the baby faces and Josh Alexander is eating the pen.
[01:04:04] I'll wait for one particular one towards the end. It's not the main event but I'll wait towards the end we got a AEW TNT title nor disqualification match between Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe. I think this is the sixth time they fought against each other and this is going to be no disqualification. And the added stakes are.
[01:04:30] The added stakes are that they are going to have that if Mark Briscoe loses in his match with Mark Kyle Fletcher then he will be forced to join the Don Callis family.
[01:04:48] If that's their way of basically saying, hey, we're going to give the TNT title to Mark Briscoe. This is killing everything that they've been trying to push with Kyle Fletcher. Kyle Fletcher was in the main event of all out a couple months ago as CNC champion and they completely diminished his push and he's back on Collision fighting for a championship that has lost its prestige for the last two years.
[01:05:17] We also got the, as I mentioned, the women's World title match between Chris Statlander and Mercedes Monet and we also got the AW world title match between Adam Page and Samoa Joe. Adam Page, he wins this. Chris Statlander I think will lose the title to Mercedes Monet and Mercedes Monet will have 13 title belts.
[01:05:40] I want to just read it off again because the amount of titles that she currently holds, I don't even know if this is all the titles.
[01:05:50] WPW Women's Championship Body Slam Women's Championship DW Women's Championship PWT or PTW Women's Championship Barista Bestia Women's Champion CMLL World Women's Champion EWA Women's World Champion REV Pro Undisputed British Women's Champion AEW TBS Champion I believe she holds a couple more that they have not talked about.
[01:06:39] So there's only. It's been a 300 the duration of her day but this is a duration of some of the. Some of the title range. 50035 days TBS title 1008 days Best Year Women's Champion 33 days Body Slam Women's Champion 147 days CMLL World Women's Champion it says she was.
[01:07:04] Oh, that was like 2012.
[01:07:07] It says that she's had a.
[01:07:09] She had, she had a 378 day reign as the CW panoptic champion. I don't have no idea what that is. She was a Mercedes. KV in that rain, another one.
[01:07:26] EWA champion. She's been champion for 159 days.
[01:07:33] Rev Pro undisputed British women's champion. Three hundred and eleven days.
[01:07:40] The WPW championship, she's held it for 24 days.
[01:07:51] Like, bro, this gotta stop. She's about to have the the World Heavyweight Champion. And I don't know who you end up having her be having beat her. This is insane. This is insanity.
[01:08:03] And again, the world title match, I mean, the Joe Heel turn, it's what was needed. But I guess it's gonna happen.
[01:08:13] By the way, the attendance for this right now, this was as of November 5th at the Prudential center in Newark, New Jersey. Available tickets right now is 14, 14, 14.
[01:08:30] The current setup right now is 8789.
[01:08:36] Current distributed is 7375.
[01:08:41] It's 10. It'll be 10 days for the show.
[01:08:44] Of course, the arena sits about 16,000. And last year for full gear, it was 10,639.
[01:08:54] So they went from 10,639 to now 8,789.
[01:09:06] So almost 1800 tickets you can't be able to sell to get above 10,000 shows you the the state of the product right now.
[01:09:22] Meanwhile, there's also another thing to talk about with this full gear.
[01:09:30] Tony Khan last week basically said that we are having a brand new championship introduced to the public and it's called the AEW National Title.
[01:09:46] I'm sitting here thinking about it and I'm saying to myself, what happened to the Unified Championship? What happened to the International Championship? What happened to the Continental Championship?
[01:10:01] This guy solely wants to make belts for the sake of making belts.
[01:10:07] This match will be contested in a casino gauntlet, which the current members right now are Shelton, Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight.
[01:10:20] And who knows who else are they gonna put randomly in this match?
[01:10:25] Are they gonna put Takeshna in this match?
[01:10:29] Okada doesn't have a match right now.
[01:10:32] I think everybody is waiting to see if Takeshna vs Okada happens at this event. And in that case, I mean, I would understand why. It's super big. You got the IWDP Heavyweight Champion going against the Unified Champion. And it's that that match feels it's worthy of a freaking New Japan card. Which, by the way, it was announced that Hiroshi Tanahashi's last match will be against Kazos Kazushko Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 20 in January.
[01:10:59] So that'll be fun.
[01:11:03] So I don't know what they're gonna do here, but this national title nonsense, it's even crazier because. And I waited to talk about this because they didn't talk it back during. The tag Team Nixon Newell story is that if you're trying to promote that you're doing a tournament for these new women's tag team championships that most likely will conclude at full gear.
[01:11:25] Then what in the world are you doing?
[01:11:28] Basically giving them only three minutes match.
[01:11:32] I don't know what so achievable about pushing that. Hey, you're pushing for a new women's tag division, but you're giving them only three, three minutes on a card of a, of a program that nobody cares about. And as far as the tournament goes, I'm not sure what else has me going in a tournament.
[01:11:55] I could go ahead and look at stuff right now.
[01:12:01] Currently right now the results on the quarterfinal.
[01:12:09] The Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron, Willow, Nightingale Be Athena and Mercedes on the Dynamite before and then in a. Oh, it was Eddie Kingston, Adam Page, Eddie Kingston Hook against the Ops for the two years tag team championships. Also that was a quarterfinal match.
[01:12:37] So far I don't think I've seen another quarterfinal match.
[01:12:46] Yep, there is absolute no other quarterfinal match.
[01:12:50] The Sisters of Sin beat Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata. Which Queen Aminata is injured right now?
[01:12:56] That was Julia Hart and Sky Blue.
[01:13:01] Those are the only people who have been involved in the tournament. I'm sure that there's other people that have been in the tournament.
[01:13:14] I know that Mina Shirakawa and Tony Storm are supposed to be in the tournament as well.
[01:13:19] So honestly I don't know what to say. But to finish it all up, the so far card for Survivor Series in San Diego at Petco park on November 29th. It will be right now an eight women tag team match. Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, EO sky and Rhea Ripley against the Kabuki Warriors, Oscar and Kyrie saying last Legend and Nia Jax. I'm not sure anybody's going to want to see that match. Meanwhile, eight man tag match so far.
[01:13:54] Division Bron Breaker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul against CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Jay uso. I'm gonna say this right now, it's been a very lengthy episode.
[01:14:07] I have a pitch for this war games match and I think a lot of people have had this go under the radar. But what is the one thing that they have been pushing for the last couple months now?
[01:14:24] Jay USO is progressively trying to get to his heel turn.
[01:14:32] It looked like he was going to do that with his match against Punk at Saturday night's main event. It didn't happen.
[01:14:41] But if they are still believing in J USO and they want to make a big deal out of Jey Uso, I'm gonna take you back to 2019.
[01:14:56] And this also, funny enough relates to Nixon Newell, the former Tegan Knox. Tegan Knox and Dakota Kai were involved in a women's war games match.
[01:15:06] And Dakota Kai came out of the the cell that they were holding for the baby faces.
[01:15:13] She came out, she came to the ring, Tegan Knox clapping along, giving her joy. And as soon as she got halfway down the ramp, Dakota Kai comes back and big boots Tika Knox takes her knee brace off and bashes her knee against the cell door repeatedly.
[01:15:32] We also saw that back in the early concepts of war games back at wcw. I believe it was either Kurt Henning or it was Chris Benoit who was on the baby face for the Four Horsemen and turned his back and basically forced a surrender.
[01:15:52] And that was super huge. We have not seen on the main roster a betrayal on a team, on themselves.
[01:16:03] And personally, if Jay uso, if you think about it, because, because the other people I have to go is that, you know, it's going to be either Jimmy USO, L.A. knight or Roman Reigns being in this match. And then on the heel side it's got to be Brock Lesnar.
[01:16:22] So if you have all of everybody down, Punk and Roman or anybody else and, and you can make this five on five and you, you can add the rumored Austin theory, make this five on five and then you can have everybody that's in it. So say if it's a five on two situation and you picture Cody Rhodes and Jay USO the, you know, the main oosis. Remember a couple years ago they created the most controversial and the most entertaining press conference segment that we have seen in a long time with them both being drunk at the press conference, being intoxicated and having libations.
[01:17:07] Cody Rhodes has trusted Jey uso. Jey USO has come to Cody Rhodes.
[01:17:13] But Cody is the champion.
[01:17:16] Cody is the main guy.
[01:17:18] If you're still trying to give Cody Rhodes his face turn and basically still make him a face.
[01:17:28] And if you're not going to turn him heel and you're still looking to turn J heel, imagine they're outnumbered because everybody else is down and Cody Rhodes and Jey USO stand up next to each other and all of a sudden J USO super kicks. Cody Rhodes beat the crap out of him and then the heels, the bad guys finish your spam on everybody, pins whoever that they want to pin and they win the match.
[01:17:57] Number one continues to push for Bron Breaker and Reed and Logan Paul gets a win and Brock Lesnar gets a win.
[01:18:07] But then you now have a storyline where Jake and go and say, I'm gonna be better than my cousin ever was because I'm gonna beat you, Cody, when the chips are all down and I have no help because I'm gonna do it just me ooze.
[01:18:26] I'm gonna win the title that my cousin still has not gotten from you. And that's the whole reason that we are in this mess.
[01:18:38] So just thought for other matches I could see happening on Survivor Series, like I mentioned, Nikki Bella and Stephanie Vacuur. I could also see John Cena with the Intercontinental Championship, defending it potentially against the rematch against Dominic or maybe even have Rey Mysterio beat him for it again. Rey Mysterio's on his last legs. He could end up retiring in 2026 and I'm sure that he would want his last match to be with Dominic.
[01:19:11] So just thoughts to think about.
[01:19:14] And as far as the attendance goes here, this is as of November 8th on Saturday, November 29th at Petco Park, San Diego, California.
[01:19:28] The available tickets right now is just under 3,000. The current setup is 35,276. Currently distributed is 32,314.
[01:19:41] So they still got a decent amount to sell. They got 17 days before the show, so they got almost a week up on full gear to still get people for the show.
[01:19:55] And of course, you know, with ticket prices and everything else or whatnot, you never know really if people are gonna be excited on what's gonna happen here.
[01:20:10] But I don't know. But that is it for today's show. That's is it for today's podcast. I want to thank you guys for listening again.
