[00:00:01] The Rocking Review Podcast, hosted by J. Rock. [00:00:20] Ladies and gentlemen, wherever and whenever you are listening to this very first inaugural episode of this podcast, I welcome you into the debut of the newest sports podcast, the rocking Sports Review Podcast, hosted by, of course, Jason J. Rockrude. That is me. And I am just super, super psyched that this is finally happening. For years and years and years, I always wanted to do my very own podcast. I had a lot of setbacks, didn't have the right equipment, but the people here at WNYO 889 FM in Oswego, New York, they have helped me achieve this dream and I personally just want to shout them out and thank them for giving me this opportunity. I want to thank Eason Lee, the podcasting director, for giving my idea of a sports podcast a shot. And now we are here. Basically, I'm just going to start out this part of the show, the first part of the show, explaining who I am and basically a big overview of what the the podcast will become. First off, I will mention that I'm hoping that this is not a solo podcast. I know what everybody's saying. They're basically like, wow, just a one man podcasting. This does not sound interesting at all. And trust me, I do understand. I just want to be able to talk about the hot takes that I have on sports that I'm super passionate about. Hopefully along the way we will have more and more guests to come in, maybe even a second guest host. Maybe we just have a couple of people that come in here every so often and they give their takes on sports and, you know, whatever that they feel like doing. Basically we'll just have them all in and that would be really, really huge. But currently today for the debut episode, it is currently just me. My name is Jason Rud. I am currently a broadcasting major at the State University of New York in Oswego. [00:02:26] I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in broadcasting. After I successfully was able to have my associates at my community college, it was really, really huge. Getting started into broadcasting, I really, really got into talking to people and not having a shyness about it. Despite me being on the spectrum, I really enjoyed just talking to people and sharing my opinions and my thoughts and, you know, anybody that you ever meet that is on the spectrum, we always say we are very goal oriented people. So when I see something that is sports related and it happens to be a sport that I am very much into and I have a very big likeness to, I tend to mainly focus on talking about all that it's open my mind into new perspectives of sports and what comes with it and everything that goes with it. And I'm just super, super excited to finally be starting a podcast talking about it. And basically I'll just go into a short little rundown of what today's episode is going to be like. First off, we're going to take a look back at week 10 and see everything that happened from the highs and the lows. And we have some very, very crushing blows and some crushing games, including a incredible stat that I found that worries me. And then we're going to take a look at the Week 11 preview for their schedules going on currently when this podcast will be released. We have a very huge game tonight with the Commanders and the Eagles in a rival for the NFC east. And who will take first place in that, along with some other very, very big matchups going ON in week 11, this is the time to lock in. We got seven more weeks. Seven more weeks. We got Thanksgiving coming up in two weeks for those Thanksgiving games. It'll be such a big, big time this week for the NFL season. And lastly, we will be talking about the main sport that I really love to talk about, and that is of course, the world of pro wrestling. Yeah, and I originally always wanted to do a majority pro wrestling podcast because it was one of the very first things I fell in love with. I fell in love with it ever since I was a little kid. And it has always carried me through some of the toughest times in my life. And you know, it's the one thing that I have always, you know, come to love with. And then eventually I ended up liking more and more sports. I liked football and then I ended up liking more of basketball and other things like that. And I really, really love to talk about pro wrestling because it's near and dear to my heart. But we're going to talk about a lot of pro wrestling that probably will be like majority of the end of this podcast. [00:05:44] But we're gonna talk a bit about the current Raw that just happened a couple nights ago and talk about the major storylines going into the Survivor Series pay per View and we'll give a little bit of some predictions. Along with that, we're also gonna talk about all elite wrestling and their build up to their Thanksgiving pay per View full gear up in Newark, New Jersey. That'll happen on the 25th of November. And then we're going to finish it off with talking about the new developmental program that has been in the current state of the WWE ID that people are basically Saying it's almost the death of the indie wrestling scene. And we're going to basically take a look at that, we're going to give our opinions about it, and we're going to go from there. [00:06:37] So we're gonna start off talking about the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans game that ended up happening this past Sunday night on NBC. [00:06:50] And man, oh man, oh man, this game, at first I was, I was very confused because, you know, Jared Goff, he ended up having over like he had three interceptions in the first half. Now the only ones to beat Detroit this year before this game was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I believe it was week two. So it's really, really good to see that the Detroit Lions have been progressing, especially after the push that they got last year, winning the NFC north for the first time in 30 years. Then they got their own playoff game that they won against their former quarterback who they thought was going to lead them to a Super bowl, but he ended up leading the other team that he got traded to to a Super bowl in his first year starting out for the Los Angeles Rams and Matthew Stafford. But so far Dan Campbell has done so much for that team and he has just elevated and he has brought star players like Jamar Gibbs, like an Iman, Ray St. Brown, like David Montgomery and Jared Goff. Like people thought that when Jared Goff, unfortunately, despite the circumstances that he had going in to that 2019 Super bowl against Tom Brady, which would have been the last super bowl win, that Tom Brady would win with the New England Patriots, people like just started to wonder like if Jared Goff was washed up. And everybody remembers that first season Jared Goff went to Detroit, they were one win off of another. [00:08:45] Oh, and I believe that was 17 season because at that point they had stopped from the 16 and they were now at 18 week games. So basically they had one win and they were able to stop it. But in the first half, the Texans looked like they had the Detroit Lions in their hands. And then immediately out the second half, Detroit gets the pick. And then Detroit throws another pick to the Texans again. And you know, it was really just, you know, a back and forth and then finally they started to come right back up and then it was just back and forth field goals from Jake Bates and then the game clinching the tying one, the first one that he had went all the way to like the right side, it hugged. It hugged that goalpost, that right upright goalpost. It hugged that. It was super, super close by like centimeters. And then he ties the game and you're Thinking, okay, they're going to tie the game, they're going to go to overtime. Then the Texans end up trying to kick the field goal and they miss their kick. [00:10:08] And then time is running, time is running. [00:10:12] There was a little bit of a miscue. [00:10:15] And then finally at the end of it, a 52 yard field goal by Jake Bates wins the game 26, 23. [00:10:27] And that is really the closest win that Detroit has had all season. [00:10:37] They are one of the first teams to have over five turnovers in a game and still win the whole thing. [00:10:46] That, to me is crazy. And then it also brings up questions of what happened to this Texans team. Three losses that now the Texans have. And I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like all the rookie quarterbacks, there's something going on with them because we saw that from Caleb Williams, where his online didn't do nothing this week against the Bears, loss to the Pats 19 to 3. Anthony Richardson, @ the time of this recording, he just got announced back to the starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. Yet before he had like tapped out. Everyone has seen the clip. He taps on his helmet and he's completely out. He was. He's done. He's tired of just really trying to, you know, put that Indianapolis Colts organization on his back and be a franchise player. And Joe Flacco, who they thought was going to be, you know, for the rest of the season, you know, just take AR under his wing and, you know, teach him a little bit. And now Richardson is going to be put back into that spotlight and now he's going to get a second chance. I don't know what this means because the AFC south, even with the Texans having their losses, the Texans still have a very, very huge advantage over that AFC south division. I mean, Titans are still, you know, down there, Jags are still down there. The only ones that could possibly come back up is the Colts if they can still be able to finish out the rest of the season. And then even if they don't get the division title, hopefully they can sneak in to the playoffs with a wild card spot. But overall, it was such a nail biter of a game. But Detroit, they come back and they win it. And it was a very, very strong win for the Lions. [00:13:05] Moving on, we're going to talk about one of my favorite teams, talking about the Buffalo Bills. And currently, after their win over the Indianapolis Colts that they had this past Sunday, they are now holding their best franchise record since 1993, their best record in the first half of the season since Jim Kelly. [00:13:35] And that is huge. [00:13:37] And that is basically showing you how different this Buffalo Bills team is because you are now turning what used to work into something completely different. And one of the biggest things is like if you look at Allen's passing, he got seven TDS for four turnovers with a total of 2,281 yards. [00:14:09] You know, and previously last year he had, you know, he had 18 the 18 interceptions. In his last three seasons, the Mains had over 40 plus turnovers. And now going into week 11, so week 11, we got seven more weeks, he has only thrown four and he's tied 53rd in interceptions. Now granted that Lamar Jackson is currently 44th, that just shows you like how well this Josh Allen has been. He has now slowed down. I think he knows and that is because of the rush game. [00:15:01] James Cook, currently 17th, has over 576 yards and he's eighth. He had eight touchdowns. That is tied with third. And the only ones that have more are Jalen Hurts, who's having his, I guess I could say equivalent of like a Lamar Jackson or you know, Josh Allen, he's got over 10, Derek Henry's got 12. [00:15:30] And they are also having the best turnover margin. They barely have any turnovers, no fumbles or nothing. They barely have any of that. They have been able to secure the ball and their defense even without their star players. And you know, they're starting Matt Milano back up in practice, but they are still creating some big players over there. Greg Russo is doing an amazing job. Taron Johnson, he had pick six on Sunday. [00:16:07] They are really moving this team very well and everybody's doing pretty well. Josh Allen, he's currently eighth in all the league. He's got 17 touchdowns. He fourth in the league. He's fifth in QBR and the craziest one of all, he's 28th in sacks as well. And the biggest thing of all, the biggest asset to Josh and his passing that we've saw is Khalil Shakir. 54 targets with over 48 completions. That's 90% for 570 yards. And also they're rushing. To go back to that, has had a combined 247 attempts off of Ray Davis, the rookie from Kentucky. James Cook and Josh Allen have combined for a total of 1,105 yards. This is a very, very different Bills team and this was a team that everybody were pushing to the side and that was because of teams like this. And that is where we transition to the other AFC East Team being the New York Jets. [00:17:24] I'm not a big hater on the Jets. [00:17:27] Yes, they are division rivals, I know that. [00:17:34] But it's just insane to me how the jets have been an enigma in the entire league. [00:17:44] The amount of talent that the New York jets have been able to run through and they have, they still have currently. [00:17:58] Like at one point they had the top offensive rookie and defensive rookie in Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson. And now like I'm seeing memes of like, how many players have more picks than Sauce Gardner and it's ridiculous. And this past Sunday they had their seventh loss of the season to the Arizona Cardinals, who have now jumped up as a favorite and currently the division leader in the NFC West. And it makes me think, how does it come to this? Rogers goes 2235 for 151 and he gets three sacks, no touchdowns, no interceptions. [00:18:50] Breeze Hall, Breeze hall was an absolute just bullet for that jets rushing and now 10 carries for 52 yards. There's nothing for them. Garrett Wilson, 41 yards after five receptions and six targets. And then the one that everybody knows about, Devonte Adams. I, I do not know what it is with Devonte and why he's having such a rough start after promoting constantly about how well that the jets were going to do with Devonte on the team. [00:19:43] But now he's came back and he suffered three losses and one win and he had 13 targets that was the most out of anybody on that team. And he only caught for six receptions and 31 yards. Rogers gets another fumble like and the one positive, of course, what was that amazing sack that Quincy Williams got, that helmet popper that he got on Kyler Murray? [00:20:17] But Meanwhile Kyler went 22 of 24 with two 66 yards and a touchdown. Trey Benson's 62 yards, Kyler rushed in for two touchdowns. [00:20:33] Marvin Harrison is still, still one of the biggest offensive rookies coming in from this season. [00:20:42] 54 yards, touchdown. Trey McBride, 71. James Connor also 80 yards receiving. Like the jets gave up so much and meanwhile they had just three, six and third and you know, 50 tackles. They were so big and there wasn't even like a pick. [00:21:15] It was just fumbles that they got fumbles and then continuing to run over the Jets. And at this point, I don't know who you really end up, you know, blaming for this outcome. [00:21:34] They are 15th in passing, they're 30th in rushing and 26th in yards per game. Like we did not know how bad this was going to be, but like they get the loss against The Pittsburgh where Devonte lost to the Steelers twice in one week. Then you get the 25, 22 loss against the Patriots. Then you get the win last week against Houston and then you get another 31 to 6. [00:22:07] Like there's something with this one. And now they're going to go against for the rest of the season. They have Indianapolis, Seattle, Miami, Jacksonville, the Rams, Buffalo, and then Miami again. It's like, like I don't know exactly what the jets are gonna need to do. [00:22:31] You know, I'm hoping that the jets end up coming back from all this and hopefully they can bring out because like their defensive roster is supposed to be stacked when you got guys like Will McDonald, Hasan Reddick, who finally has come to terms and I haven't heard nothing on him yet, Quentin Williams, you have C.J. mosley, Michael Carter, Sauce, you have all these players on defense and you're supposed to be. And granted they're the seventh ranked defense in the league, but there is a major, major problem with them. And I'm not sure exactly where this is going to go for the New York jets, but they have got to find something that works, that sticks. And you know, it's just looking very rough for them. But they're not the only ones looking rough because I have a stat here that is absolutely abysmal. So Sunday morning I was reading through and I realized how many teams were like having five losses, six losses, seven losses, eight losses. So I went on and I looked at the standings. Do you know how many teams out of 32 in the NFL are under.500 this year? 18. [00:24:04] That is more than half of the Entire League is under 500. And those teams, by the way I have them listed, are the Broncos, the Bears, the Rams, the Seahawks, the Colts, the Bengals, the Bucks, the Dolphins, the Cowboys, the Jets, the Pats, Saints, Panthers, Browns, Titans, Raiders, Giants, Jags, Jags is the worst of the bunch. [00:24:37] And what's even Crazier is that 10 of those 18 teams are off of the AFC conference. So that leaves six teams in the AFC who are currently over.500 and there is of course seven seeds in the playoffs. So that means that either a team is going to pick up some steam this rest of the season and they are going to get more wins, they're going to rack up more wins, but halfway through the season and half of them got about six losses on average. [00:25:17] This is really concerning because you're going to have a very low winning record team that's going to end up in the playoffs. And you see like teams like the Bengals, who have the best receiver currently in Jamar Chase. And still the Bengals are below in the AFC North. You also got teams like the Dolphins. The Dolphins have some of the best offensive people. They got Hill Tua. Tua had an amazing season last year. Granted, of course, the concussion protocols and the injuries that he's had. But the Dolphins should be doing a way better job than they should have. It's the same thing with the Jets. All this talent, Jalen Ramsey, you got all this talent on your roster, but somehow you're not clicking. It's just very, very concerning. And then you got some other teams like the Giants. I don't know what to do about the Giants. Daniel Jones, it's off and on. He flips a switch and he looked decent in that game against the Panthers on Sunday, early morning, and you know, they had a chance, but the rook, Tracy, he ended up not having both hands on the ball. He fumbled it on the opening drive that they got off of overtime. They were. They won the coin toss. They were able to receive. Tracy, the rook, he ends up fumbling it. [00:26:49] You know, it sucked. You know, you thought that they were very, very close. And I think a lot of people did kind of think that having the Panthers would be an easy win, but that's not what happened. And the Panthers walked away and they were able to get their third win of the season, which, you know, seeing how we saw what happened with the Panthers early on the season, we didn't really think they were going to get to three wins. But here we are. [00:27:15] And let's say that they somehow start a run here and the rest of the NFC teams who are below.500 end up continuing to fall off and whatnot, they might go ahead and sneak in on that. Now, I'm not saying that that is, you know, not possible, but, you know, that's also not very likely that they might do that. But, you know, people can dream, Panthers fans can dream. [00:27:46] And then the one team, and this is where I'll close out the Week 10 review, is the Cowboys. And the Cowboys have had the biggest downside of all this season. [00:28:05] And this past week, they got Molly whopped by their division rival in the birds of the Philadelphia Eagles, 34 to 6. It just sucks because everything that the Cowboys do every year, yes, a lot of fans love to pick on it, but we know how hard they really do try, and they end up failing every single time, whether it's post or it's in the regular season. But now with the unfortunate injury out for the season for Dak. [00:28:47] Now they have to resort to Cooper Rush and Trey Lance, which by the way, rush out of 13 of 23 had only 45 yards of offense. And then they subbed in Trey lance who went 4 of 6 for 21 and had a pick. The most offensive yardage they got was from Rico Dwindle, who had 12 carries and 53 yards. [00:29:14] That was the most. [00:29:16] No touchdowns, no nothing. [00:29:22] Defense had four sacks and that was pretty much it. They got completely dismantled. And now you're thinking, what did the Cowboys do? You know, they still have the rest of the season to go. [00:29:39] They are not as worse as the Giants, but they're third in the east. [00:29:47] And you got the juggernauts of the Eagles and the Commanders, which we'll get into after this, having their big matchup of who's going to take control of the NFC East. [00:30:00] And meanwhile you got the Cowboys just absolutely crumbling before your very eyes. And the biggest thing that came out of that loss were the two instances of the interviews from one Micah Parsons and one Jerry Jones in which Micah Parsons stated that that's above my pay grade. [00:30:26] If Mike's coaching again next year, all coaching aside, Mike can leave and go wherever he wants. Guys I feel bad for is guys like Zach Martin, hall of Fame guard, by the way, and guys who might be on their last year on their way out because that's who I wanted to hold a trophy for. You want to win games and do great things with those types of legends who have put more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did. [00:30:57] So those are the kinds of guys that I have so much sympathy and hurt for. [00:31:01] When my star linebacker that is seamlessly every single year proving and wanting to say that he's one of the best in the league. [00:31:12] Is saying this basically throwing your coach under the bus. [00:31:19] That's a leadership issue. And there was another instance and I unfortunately can't remember which player it was, but there was another one who was arguing with a reporter. And that has really been all that the Cowboys organization has done is arguing, arguing, argue on why they're sucking. [00:31:38] And it's really a leadership issue. [00:31:41] No accountability from either Mike McCarthy or Jerry Jones. Now, granted the comment about more time and work than Mike McCarthy ever did. I'm sorry, Mike McCarthy, he won his super bowl ring. He won a Super bowl with Aaron Rodgers and the packers were a juggernaut in the NFC north and nobody was touching them with a 50 foot pole. [00:32:12] They had a massive grasp over the entire NFC conference, but they kept on failing time after Time after time. And then finally, Aaron Rodgers, he proceeded to go to the Jets. He got that first injury on the very first game last season. And now he's made all the starts this season. [00:32:34] And we don't know what to think about it because of the previous statement of their three and seven, you know, start to the season. [00:32:43] But it does not end there because then we have Jerry Jones, who talks about the sun issue. So for those who watch the game, there was actually a time where Cooper Rush could have actually thrown a touchdown. It was mostly a rushing game for the Cowboys, but Cooper Rush could have had a touchdown to CD Lamb. But the reason why the positioning of the field and the sun on the open roof got in CD Lamb's eyes and he could not see the ball wide open in front of him to reach out and catch it. [00:33:24] And Jerry Jones response is, by the way, we know where the sun is going when we flip the coin. So we do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium. Proceeds to say, let's just tear the damn stadium down and build another one. Are you kidding me? He then continued on with saying that every team comes in here and has the same issues. They know where the sun's going to be. Every team has the same thing. And I'm not saying it's on McCarthy basically saying like it was his fault. [00:34:02] I'm saying that the world knows where the sun is. [00:34:07] We get to know that almost a year in advance. So someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where's the moon? We're fine, but everybody plays in the sun out here. [00:34:23] And again, this just shows you about accountability, because he has said even more about how they thought that it was going to be better that they weren't playing with Dak, that Cooper Rush was starting because Dak is injured and out for the season and they thought they would be better. This organization has got to get a hold of everything going on because they have yet to do that. And it has become a negative outcome for everybody in the Cowboys organization. And they have got to get control of something. They have got to start, you know, fixing up their strategy, and they have got to start pulling back into what they thought was going to be a good season. And you're looking at the rest of their season. They got the Houston game on Monday night, and then they got Washington, they got the Giants for Thanksgiving, they got the Bengals, the Panthers, the Bucks, the Eagles, and then finally Washington again. [00:35:37] And there are only three wins, by the way, were their opening win against the Browns and then a five point win against the Giants and a three point win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. [00:35:53] Everything else has been a four game losing streak. 47, 9, 30 to 24, 27 to 21 and 34 to 6. [00:36:03] They are currently just absolutely falling apart and you see how this team has gone and you know, you're just hoping that they make it out and hoping that they end up changing their ways. But they, they have not been the best. [00:36:27] They're 10th in passing yards, they're 33rd, they're 31st in rushing. Like it's crazy. I do not know if they can go on like this. They are currently negative 10 in the differential for turnovers, having 10 interceptions and eight fumbles for 18 total turnovers. Their record is bad at home. [00:36:52] They just need to find some balance and they need to start getting back on the on the horse again. And now we are finally going to look at the Week 11 schedule for this week in the NFL and we got some very big matchups including the very first one starting off on Thursday night on prime, we got the Washington Commanders going 73 against the Philadelphia Eagles who are 7 and 2 and currently bet MGM odds are favoring the Eagles by 3.5 points. And I would not blame them because the Eagles have one of the biggest offenses right now currently in the league ranking six overall. They are actually second in the run game thanks to Saquon Barkley who's averaging about 110.1 yards per game. And they are facing a vulnerable Washington run defense which is currently ranked 28th in the league allowing 142 rushing yards per game. And also Philadelphia is top five in both rushing and pass defense. So there is a very good chance that Philadelphia could be able to just pick up a big win and they can conquer the Commanders with this game and they can start to continue back up hopefully win the rest of the NFC East. We also have a AFC north division rivalry game with the two top teams in that division with the Steelers versus the Ravens. And there is a amazing stat that I saw talking about the Steelers and the Ravens and seeing how they have been affected for Lamar Jackson's game. In the last six game against the Steelers, Lamar Jackson have had seven fumbles, four TDs, seven interceptions. He's got a 66.8 passer rating, he's been sacked 20 times and he has a 59.1 completion rate and currently he is second in the league in Riyars with 2,669. He has gotten over 24 touchdowns. He only has two interceptions and he's also the first in QBR. So he is one of like the biggest people right now that is taking control of the afc. [00:39:20] But due to the loss, particularly with the Browns, they have a long, long way to go. I think this is going to be a very big game for the Ravens and the Steelers, including the Ravens and Lamar Jackson proving that they are that mvp, super bowl caliber team that they looked at last year and still trying to continue that with this game going forward on Sunday. We also have, I believe, the biggest game of the weekend being with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. And some of the craziest stats that they have is most offensive touchdowns. Prior to turning 30. Mahomes has 244. Allen has 242. And also on top of that, currently Josh Allen's record against Patrick Mahomes in the regular season since this rivalry started is 3 and 1. But in the playoffs they've gone.04. Every single time they face each other in the playoffs, it has always been Patrick Mahomes and currently the Chiefs are riding at an unstoppable rate, being 9 0. So if the Buffalo Bills at home can be able to hand the Chiefs their first loss, that is something that is really, really big for them. And I think this will further give the Bills momentum in trying to prove that they are finally that team this year. And another crazy stat here is that the Chiefs, which are 9 0, the bills are 8 and 2. So whoever wins this game also will be closer or be the number one seed in the afc. The last time that a team with the best combined record heading into week 11 had this type of record right now was the Chiefs, who was 9 and 1, and the Rams, who were 91 in 2018. That game ended in 54 to 51. Both teams were extra competitive. That was a great game between Jared Goff and Patrick Mahomes. And it was in the early run of Patrick Mahomes. It was Patrick Mahomes before he even got the super bowl rings. And currently right now, the Chiefs are trying very, very hard even though almost seven games this season have been from one score games. They just had the Denver Broncos and they won by two. Like Patrick Mahomes has struggled a lot this season and it will be extra special to see what happens going forward with this game. And finally, we are taking a look at pro wrestling. Yeah. And man, oh man, oh man, there was a lot of stuff to happen. Spoiler alert. The next episode of next week's Raw was taped. They are doing two tapings. I believe they will also be doing it Friday night smackdown. [00:42:29] And they will be pre taping the shows for next week and basically giving them a little bit more time before Thanksgiving, which is very odd. So they can be able to go to their families and spend some time. I don't know why they wouldn't double tape the one next week, but I think this will generate a little bit more creativity because now that go home show before Survivor Series will now be a live show. And I have some takes on that, on how that show should go. Leading up to Survivor Series, we actually started off with a Gunter vs Damian Priest promo and Priest came out and taunted him and basically gave him the eight mile treatment. Basically saying, I know every insult you're going to throw at me. And I always thought that you were that killer and I doubted myself. But then since you won the world title, I've seen that fire slowly, slowly fade out. And the strongest thing that I saw to make me believe that it faded away from you and you're not that killer that he said that he was was that he had that loss to Cody Rhodes, which I still think that that was wrong. I think that Cody should have lost and Gunther should have won at Crown Jewel, even though that championship. You know, in the words of Vince Russo, that belt don't mean crap. But it was a really good promo. This will be a really good match for Survivor Series. People were thinking that Punk was gonna face Gunter and I think this just gives Punk a little bit more time. I don't even know if he's in the world title picture come WrestleMania, but we'll just have to find out and wait and see. We also got a returning Dakota Kai. Dakota Kai came back, joined her damage control friends of Eos Guy and Kyrie Sane, and they faced the the team of freaking Zoe Stark, Shayna Baszler and Sonya deville. This team, that team is just absolutely dead. The one who should be at the top right now is Shayna Baszler, who took the pin off of a Eos sky over the moonsault. And a lot of people are wondering who is going to be the women's U.S. championship. And I believe it should be Shayna Baszler. Shayna Baszler is one of the strongest competitors on that women's roster. That is basically, to me, is absolutely dead. But still, I believe Shayna Baszler should be the first women's United States Champion for that first championships lineage. As far as the rest of damage control goes, Dakota Kai is back I think that's great. But currently EOS guy is the number one contender for the Women's World Champion. We also got more new day friction as there was a match between Kofi Kingston and Pete Dunne in which Dunne pinned Kofi and woods would just tell him, I told you so. And you know, Kingston is, you know, backlashing off of what woods is saying. And, and mind you, in a, in a little bit, depending on what week they're going to do it, they're doing the ten year celebration of the new day and that's dedicated an entire episode, which means that, I mean, I would believe the main event is going to be the final turn on the new day. And at first we all were like, probably Xavier woods is going to do it. But now people are thinking that it's gonna be Kofi and I don't know how that is gonna look because we've never really looked at a heel Kofi. I mean the close we ever got was when all three of them were together with Big E, Xavier and that was early Bootio's new day when they were just the obnoxious heels and then they just continued to be babyfaces. They're not heel characters. It's good that they're moving away from that, but I don't know exactly what that's going to entail for the group. And of course each woods and Kingston's singles career. Also on top of that we had a Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins pull apart in which at the end of all this, I should also mention that with Survivor Series coming up, they are setting up a war games match between the OG bloodline with Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns and the Usos against Sola Soa, Jacob Fatu of Tangaloa and Tamatanga. And that should be decent. But what they're, they're making a swerve, they're making five on five, which I don't even understand how that works. And key thing with the spoilers, I'm not going to reveal it. I'm not going to reveal also what came a part of the main event, but I'll, I'll go into that a little bit more. But I'm not liking this thing where they're trying to find a fifth and at this point Seth was trying to be recruited by Sami Zayn and Seth turned him down and the reason why and he told Solo Sokoa when they were trying to recruit him, basically, I will never forgive Roman. And the next time I see him I am curb stomping his Head into the ground. And you know, I'm not saying that it's bad that they've continued this, but like it just happens and really like it's obvious that it does happen because why would Seth want to be a part of Roman after he completely destroyed his body so much he had to go away for so many months. Because if y'all remember, Wrestlemania band could barely stand at the end of that two night main event when Cody won the title and he risked it all. He took the blow from Roman, Roman got distracted, Roman lost to Cody and it was thanks to Seth. So of course Seth's not gonna want a team in Roman, but who knows? We also got a segment between the Miz and the Wyatts where the final Testament, Karrion, Kross, Ankim and Rezar and Scarlett, they blackmailed the Wyatts and they beat down the Wyatts, Miz and them. And the Wyatts kept on laughing and it was like one of the first times this year that they actually got destroyed. And you know, Bo Dallas, Uncle Howdy's gonna keep on laughing and I'm not feeling great. You know, it sucks with these two hour raws. You know, you could, you could have done something with the Wyatt's, but you know, now you're, you know, you're busy doing these segments with the Miz and all this other stuff and you're trying to make it interesting, but it's really not. We also got an interesting little confrontation between Finn Balor and Dominic Mysterio and now you're seeing a little bit more of Finn Balor wanting to separate himself from the Judgment Day faction and that possibly will happen. [00:49:32] And when he does, he needs to win a world title. He does not need a mid core title. He needs a world title run. He's been busting his butt ever since he got back into the main roster. He did what he did on nxt, then he came back and he's got in nothing other than he had. His best rivalry was with Edge, who's now gone and working for all Elite wrestling. But it's also currently injured because he decided to do a elbow drop off the top of a barbed wire cage. So take that what you will. Also next week we're getting Sheamus versus Bron Breakker off of a segment that happened off of WWE Speed the X Show for a another mini title, for a five minute match. Five or three minutes I haven't even remembered because it's just so pointless, the fact that Bron Breakker, the Intercontinental champion who you just had beat Jey uso. But next week they're going to have an IC title match, so that should be good. But the main event, it was Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, which ended with a interference between Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and basically that ended up with Naomi coming out and helping them. And then you got EO and you got, you know, Bianca and Jade and that is basically what is going to be set for War Games. And yes, I have seen the spoilers and I won't reveal it, but the War Game match for the women's is going to be Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, a fifth member against Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Naomi and EOS guy. And that to me just, I don't know, but it's crazy how you having your two world champions for the women's division who also just faced each other at a PLE event and you're having them in the same match for what. What rivalry does Nia Jax have with Jade and Bianca? Like, it makes zero sense. But moving on from that, we are going to talk about aew. [00:51:56] And currently when I'm recording this, this is happening. We have a takeover with the Jon Moxley gimmick and the Death Riders with Marina Shafir, Claudio Wheeler, Yuta and Pac. [00:52:15] And that type of stuff is. It's absolutely been ridiculous. They have not been anything of violence or danger to the company like they've promoted. And he's facing Orange Cassidy at full gear. We also have Adam Cole versus Konosuke Takeshna and basically the win here would secure the match against MJF along with Roderick Strong versus Lance Archer. And this would be the third win as well for Roderick Strong. And MJF has basically hired, quote, unquote, Takeshina and Archer, who are part of both the Don Callis family, to take out both Cole and Strong. So that way they never get to full gear, but they're both going to get to full gear and it's going to be a cluster of a match and I don't know how to feel about it. I don't know if, you know, this is the fall of mjf, but, like, he has not had a meaningful program. The Daniel Garcia thing did not even work and I don't even feel like, you know, you know, it matters. Britt Baker is also back and she's facing Penelope Ford. Like, Britt Baker has completely. Like, she's done. She is completely just done. She has wasted everything because of the injury that she took off and she also knows that she can fool Tony Khan and she is going to get that paper and basically write off of Tony Khan's paychecks because she is not a good wrestler anymore. That star has faded and that women's division has done nothing. They have Mercedes Monet who's facing Statlander and those who I consider are the two best players for the women's roster on aew. Like it makes zero sense. We also Got Leo Rush vs Swerve Strickland as Rush is trying to impress the Herz in the kit of MVP Shelton, Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, who is facing Swerve at full gear, Jay White, Juice Robinson vs. Hangman and Christian Cage. This Christian Gage gimmick, it's, it's gone a couple places, but it has really not done the best for him. So I don't really know where this is going to go. Jay White and Hangman, they're going to have a really nice match at full gear, but you know that one, that that ship is also sailed as well. But we do have a decent match in FDR vs House of Black and you know, with last week's decision by Malachi Black just to lay down and give Adam Cole the win and then people having the speculation that he was gone from the company and then he basically had to go online, had to say, nope, I'm not injured, no, I'm not leaving and no, I'm not standing up and standing the rest of my contract out. It's just that he felt like he wanted to do that to progress the storyline with him and Adam Cole. But hopefully this should be a good match. We also got promos from Lashley Ospreay and Jamie Hayter to address the AEW fans and try to build up the show. But one of the biggest things I have going towards full gear on the 23rd of November is the all Star match that we're going to have with Costco guy AJ justice, who is going to have a zero hour which is the pre show match with QT Marshall. And it just I'll try not to go on a rant. It is so incredibly agonizing seeing that this is what they are putting on their pre show and mind you, it's great that they're putting on their pre show, but this is a mesh that has zero build other than online heat over a content creator family who happens to have a dad who worked in Pro Wrestling from 1999 to 2005 and he's made occasional appearances since 2021. And then he just got popular with his sons which, which the only son that he's gonna bring along is Big Justice. Because I'm guessing Tony Khan couldn't have enough money for the Rizzler because I bet you. Because I've seen him at games, he's been on almost all the games by himself mind you. And he probably. He raises a high pay rate for his appearances. But this just, this just shows you how much they are not really paying attention with anything going on with this company. But you know, Full Gear is supposed to be one of their biggest shows. The other matches they have on the card they have the TNT championship match between Jack Perry and Daniel Garcia that goes nowhere. I mean, I mean Jack Perry just had a confrontation with the Peter Griffin lookalike on Collision. Like there's so much things wrong with this. We also got a four way tag team title match between Private Party and the Outrunners against two other teams that will be decided between the match against FTR and House of Black and another match on Collision with LFI versus I believe the acclaimed. So that should be something. But we're going to end the show with a look at the WWE id which has been a programmed aimed for supporting independent wrestling companies by partnering with training schools across the US and bring up and coming wrestlers with access to high level training, mentorship and resources directly from wwe enhancing their skill development and preparing them for potential careers managed by the wwe. And basically they are trying to be a pipeline of talent into a larger wrestling ecosystem. The already announced names are Bryce Donovan, Cappuccino Jones, the real action figure Gal. All from Wrestling Open from Game Changer Wrestling. They have Cartwheel Jack Summit, Marcus Mathers, Future Stars of Wrestling, Ice Williams, Pro Wrestling Noah, Steve Legacy, Sean Legacy, Excuse me, the IWC International Wrestling Cartel, Sam Hardaway Holloway. And then their female talents are Zeta Steel from Combat Zone Wrestling and Zara Secure, the petite powerhouse from Millennium Pro Wrestling. And my honest opinion is that this is going to be a positive and a negative for the independent wrestling community because let's say that you have a very strong talent on your independent wrestling promotion. And now you got WWE who is now doing more and more scouting trips and they were doing scouting trips before and they were looking at other promotions across the US and this is how they did it. Like previously they've done stuff with tough enough nxt, all different types of stuff. [00:59:32] But now, now because independent wrestling is bigger, I, I believe it's bigger than what it was in the 2000s. 2000s it had more of a big street cred. Kind of like how the Ecwites type of people were back in the 1990s and stuff like that. And then, you know, you had your Ring of Honor people in the 2000s and then 2010 was pro wrestling gorilla out in Cali. And this is just going to be another update in WWE system of getting up and coming talent onto, you know, the main roster and developmental and just start to teach them about what they can do in the main roster for the World Wrestling Entertainment.
